Join us on Friday, Aug. 14th and Saturday, Aug. 15th for the Back 2 School Education Empowerment Weekend!

We anticipate that this will be one of the most impactful Back 2 School weekends in the NC Triangle! Over 25 Community Resource Partners are coming together to host a two‑day Education Empowerment Weekend designed to uplift, equip, and inspire students, families, and community organizations as we step into a dynamic new academic year. See the schedule below:

Friday, Aug 14: 8:00AM - 5:00PM
We have 150 seats for middle and high school students (grades 6–12) to join our FREE Youth Empowerment Summit — a full day of leadership development, college & career readiness, health & wellness, goal setting, and mentorship.

We will also close Friday out with the Block 2 School Cookout alongside the Raleigh Police Department from 5:45PM to 7:45PM at Lake Lynn Recreation Center!

Saturday, Aug 15: 8:00AM - 3:00PM
The whole family is invited to our Education & Community Resource Expo featuring the 25+ Community Resource Partners, (special programming for the first 75 registered K–5 students), a powerful engaging Education Empowerment Panel with Wake County Public Schools leadership (and accomplished community members), and the distribution of 500+ free backpacks and school supplies.

Let’s prepare our students. Let’s strengthen our families. Let’s build our community!

What a day! 📣 This Saturday, 400+ neighbors and friends joined us for the Big Bounce Back 2 School Party, powered by 50+ incredible volunteers who gave their time to bless our kids and families before the new school year. This is NextGenBGC in action — faith, fellowship, and service on full display. Can’t wait for next year! 💚📚
