🙏🏾70 WEEKS OF PRAYER!🙏🏾

For 70 consecutive weeks, the Progressive Missionary Baptist Church has paused to pray, believe, trust, and seek the face of God at 7:00 am and again at 7:00 pm. Thank you to all of our family, friends and loved ones who are near and far for joining us on this prayer journey. We appreciate Rev. Tim Meredith, Associate Minister, for leading us over 70 straight weeks.

Through good days and difficult days, celebrations and challenges, we kept praying. And through it all, God has kept us!

Prayer has strengthened us.
Prayer has sustained us.
Prayer has reminded us that God is still faithful!

As we celebrate, we're not finished—we're going to keep on praying! There are still families to cover, burdens to lift, doors to open, healing to receive, and a community that needs the power of prayer.

📖 “Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving.” — Colossians 4:2

70 weeks down—and we're still praying! It's not too late to join us!

Congratulations to newly installed officers for Wake MBA, including our own pastor who is serving as Vice President of the Union. We pray God's best upon their service.

At the 160th Annual Session of the Wake Missionary Baptist Association (Wake MBA), Pastor Robert Walker-Smith delivered a message on the State of our Country and the responsibility of the Church in this present moment.

These are uncertain times. But this is not the time for the Church to become silent, disconnected, or discouraged. Our faith must inform how we respond to what is happening around us—and our witness must extend beyond the walls of the sanctuary.

What a great morning of evangelism in Southeast Raleigh!

We were welcomed with open arms by everyone—even one of the neighborhood dogs came out to greet us!

Two ladies shared that they attended our "Parking Lot Services during COVID". How quickly we forget those days—and yet, what a reminder that the seeds planted then are still bearing witness today.

Thank you to everyone who went out with us today. Thank you to those who prayed for us. And thank you to every person who opened a door, shared a conversation, received a door hanger, or simply took a moment to talk with us.

The church must still go beyond the walls. There are people in our community waiting for us to show up.

To God be the glory for the great things that He has done! 🙌🏾
