Intention for Welcoming the Month of Rabi' al-Awwal
In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate.
We intend to enter the month of Rabi' al-Anwar and al-Asrar (Rabi' al-Awwal) through the secret of sending prayers upon the Beloved Prophet (ﷺ), drawing near to him, receiving his blessings, and invoking blessings upon ourselves, our descendants, our families, our loved ones, and for happiness in both worlds. We seek the removal of all afflictions, harm, and misery, and ask for the attraction of goodness, mercy, and blessings, the relief from all worries and distress for us and the nation of the Beloved Muhammad (ﷺ). We seek the opening of the doors of goodness in general, every righteous intention, happiness in this life and the Hereafter, and to be gathered in the company of the Beloved Prophet (ﷺ) in the highest ranks of Paradise, with him being pleased with us, without reckoning, punishment, or prior accountability. May we be among those to whom it is said: "Enter it in peace, secure."We intend to please the Most Merciful and bring joy to the heart of the Beloved Chosen One (ﷺ), to whom my soul is sacrificed, by frequently sending prayers and peace upon him, so that it may be a sign by which he recognizes us on the Day of Resurrection, and calls out: "Bring them forward! Bring them forward!"
We seek blessings to descend upon us and all those in our hearts, those who have asked us to pray for them, and upon all Muslims in this world, the intermediary state, and the Hereafter. We intend to pray for the relief of Muslims, the pleasure of our parents, the righteousness of our descendants, happiness in both worlds, and a good ending. We intend to seek what our greatest Messenger intended, from the good of this world and the Hereafter, and the rectification of the state of the nation of our Master Muhammad (ﷺ), with gentleness, relief, complete well-being, and the fulfillment of all goals, along with every righteous intention of every saint, both outwardly and inwardly, with goodness, gentleness, forgiveness, and well-being.
By Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful,
O Most Merciful of the merciful, O Most Merciful of the merciful,
And O Most Generous of the generous,
Al-Fatiha…
