We had a wonderful Pentecost Sunday at Southminster!

Our worship services were encouraging and rewarding, featuring the Crossings Band at 9:00 AM and the Chancel Choir, along with Ringers II, at 11:00 AM. Below are links to their music. Looking ahead to May 31 — we will gather for our Combined Worship Service at 10:00 a.m. in the sanctuary, followed by our Congregational Meeting at 10:45 (children will have a special program), and then Sundae Sunday in Fellowship Hall. All are invited for an ice cream treat! See you on Sunday!

A heartfelt thank you to our sisters and brothers in Christ from Obec Kateřinice, Czechia, for this meaningful gift.

Just as steel is woven into the identity of Pittsburgh, rubber holds a special place in the life and history of Kateřinice. Gufex Co., located near the heart of the region, is a major supplier of hockey pucks and equipment — a source of local pride and craftsmanship.

These pucks are especially unique: they were molded exclusively for the 2026 Winter Olympic Games, with only a few handfuls produced. We are honored to now possess four of them!

More than a gift, they are a reminder of friendship, shared faith, and the beautiful connections that unite us across the world. We are grateful for this symbol of fellowship and partnership in Christ.
