Just to keep everyone informed: the Parish Office will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Monday.

As a reminder, there will be no 8:15 a.m. Masses this week on Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Holy Saturday.
Fr. John will hear confessions on Wednesday, at 6pm in the Church, only this week. There will be no confessions on Holy Saturday.

Today was the Chrism Mass. it was standing room only at the cathedral. Today the priests renewed their priestly promises, the oils of the sick and catechumens are blessed, and sacred chrism is consecrated. These oils will be used in sacraments around the Archdiocese.

Deacon Ted Luckett was a long time parishioner and served our parish. join us in praying for the repose of his soul.

Deacon Ted Luckett died peacefully this morning surrounded by close family. Born in 1950, he was baptized at the former Saint Cecelia Church (Portland). A graduate of Saint Stephen Martyr School and Bishop David High School, Deacon Luckett was ordained by Archbishop Joseph Edward Kurtz of Louisville in 2008. His pastoral assignments included Saint Aloysius (Shepherdsville), Saint Benedict (Lebanon Junction), and Saint Christopher (Radcliff).

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, rest in peace.
