Neurodiverse Workshop
Saturday, November 9, 2024
1:00 PM to 4:00 PM ET

Neurodiversity is a growing reality in our world and in our churches. The needs of some children and adults in our worship and ministry settings spaces may be changing and growing. This ongoing discovery is why the Kentucky Annual Conference has put together a team to help your staff and congregations grow in their capacity to support neurodiverse children and adults.

This 4 part training will cover the start and growth of special needs ministries in local churches, a basic overview of best practices and language around supporting people with special needs, and a continuum of support offered with meetings geared towards the specific needs of your churches.

Wondering how A.I. can help you in your ministry? From ideation to sharpening your content, script and image generation, and even video production - A.I. can assist you in creating deep, meaningful worship and discipleship in your church.

In this daylong workshop, author/coach Jason Moore will expose you to the most useful A.I. tools, show you how to use them, and will demonstrate how to create a worship series from scratch along with A.I. generated branding material to match. We’ll explore the why, how and what of A.I. in this interactive workshop. We’ll also discuss the ethics and theological concerns that come with this new wineskin.
