Back by popular demand. Mark your calendars for the return of Austin Moore to Louisville! Austin will present again at Unity of East Louisville on letterboard and keyboarding techniques in Autism, called Spelling. This is not the same talk as last time, so there's always more to learn. Please consider sharing this with non-speaking and minimally speaking individuals with autism, their families and caregivers, educators, therapists and anyone who supports them.

Come join the fun — all experience levels welcome! Bring a friend, a grandchild, your pet (on a 6’ leash), water bottle, snack, sunscreen, hat and whatever makes walking more comfortable for you for our 2nd 2026 Unity of East Louisville walk at the Parklands of Floyds Fork on Saturday, June 27th @ 9:00am. It’s a great time to be outdoors, enjoy a beautiful local park, be with great people and get your body moving! We’ll meet at the PriceWaterhouse Coopers LLC Pavilion, at 1401 Beckley Creek Parkway, Louisville, KY 40245. Pick whichever walk suits you best: The Black Willow Trail of approximately 3 miles, a shorter 2 mile version of the Black Willow Trail, or the Egg Lawn loop of .7 mile. We will meet at 9:00am, so come a few minutes early if you wish to check out the map, pick up some water if needed (we’ll bring extra) and start your weekend off on a positive note. We hope to see you there!

This intrepid group walked 2.4 miles on May 30th, starting on the Kentucky side of the Ohio River, across the Big 4 Bridge, scoping out the restaurants and shops on the Indiana side and returning! The next UEL walk is scheduled June 27th in The Parklands — come join us! More details to come…
