Preparing for the March for Life in Springfield, Illinois began with a meaningful gathering alongside the NCCW Province Board of Chicago at the Catholic Conference of Illinois.
We were blessed to meet with Jeanette Malafa, Director of Government Relations, and Kelsey Chisam, Operations Manager & External Relations, who walked us through how the Church engages with legislation and government. Their insight gave us a deeper understanding of the importance—and responsibility—of faithful advocacy.

We then traveled to Corpus Christi Priory for a beautiful evening of Vespers with the seminarians from Mundelein—a peaceful and prayerful close to the day.

Tomorrow, we look forward to Holy Mass with Bishop Tylka at 10:00 AM, followed by lunch, the March for Life at 2:00 PM, and for many of us, our first experience lobbying at the Capitol.

With grateful hearts, we thank Jeanette and Kelsey for helping us better understand the power and purpose of our voices in the public square.

Please keep us in your prayers as we stand for life.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Mark Your Calendars — It Will Be a Beautiful Morning!
This Lent, we are creating space for something simple, sacred, and open to everyone.
✨ A Lenten Morning of Prayer for All ✨
And we truly mean all.
Men. Women. Grandparents. Young adults. Teenagers. Children. Babies. Families. Individuals.
Whether you come alone or bring your whole household — you are welcome.
You do not have to be part of any particular group.
You do not have to be at a certain stage in life.
You do not have to have it “all together.”
Just come.
Come pray.
Come sit quietly with the Lord.
Come receive grace.

February - The Family That Forgives

"Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you." -Ephesians 4:32

Love is, patient—but sometimes messy. Teach your children how to apologize, forgive, and move forward in grace.

Tip: Model forgiveness. When tensions rise, lead with "I'm sorry" and make peace visible at home.
