Yesterday, Rev. Parks participated in a discussion group regarding food insecurity in the Peoria area. Both Bethel UMC and Forrest Hill UMC host pantries to help the needs of our community.

Representative Eric Sorensen met with central Illinois hunger advocates and church leaders to discuss food insecurity and pledged to advocate against cuts to SNAP benefits in Congress.

This bracelet was found in the parking lot at our Fall Festival. I’m sure it has sentimental value to someone. It will be in our church office until the end of the year to be claimed. You can call the office at 309-685-6243.
