Church Family,

We are excited to share that after faithfully serving as Interim Pastor, Pastor Rob Ewens was officially elected by the membership of Overland Park First Assembly of God as our Pastor during a special business meeting Sunday morning.

Congratulations to Pastor Rob, Carolyn, and the entire Ewens family! We are grateful for God’s leadership and are excited for all He has in store for our church in this new season.

“To God be the glory for the great things He has done!” 🙏❤️

Faith Family,
Our dear sister, Connie Nord, went to be with the Lord on May 15, 2026.

While we are deeply saddened by this news, we are thankful that Connie is no longer suffering and is now in the presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Jesus told us in the Sermon on the Mount, “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted” (Matthew 5:4).

Connie ran the race well, finished faithfully, and has now received her reward.

Funeral services will be held at Overland Park First Assembly of God on Saturday, May 23, 2026. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m., followed by funeral services at 1:00 p.m.

Please continue to pray with us that the Nord family will experience God’s comfort and peace during this time of grief.

In case you missed the important announcement in the bulletin regarding Wednesday night family dinner:

Wednesday night dinners have been paused for the summer. We will announce at a later date when we plan to resume the dinners.

Follow us on Facebook for future announcements. For even more up to date news, join us for Wednesday night classes for all ages 6:30-8pm or on Sunday's @ 9:30am for Sunday school & 10:30am for main service.
