We are excited that Vacation Bible School is coming up from July 14th-17th at Christ Church Mission and July 21st-24th at Christ Church OP, and we’d love for you to get involved! There are two main ways you can support this great summer ministry for our elementary students. (1) Volunteer! From small group leaders to craft facilitators to greeters at the door, there’s a place for everyone to get involved. (2) Donate Supplies! We’ve put together a Wishlist of supplies to ensure our kids have a great week. More information and kid sign-ups for VBS are linked below. Let’s make it a great summer!

The very best week of the summer is VBS at CCA! We use our week together to create shared memories and faith that last a lifetime through stories, games, crafts and friendship.

Registration for our Walk through Holy Week is officially open!
On Saturday March 23rd your family is invited to go on a "self-guided tour" through the stations of the cross. Your family will read scripture and pray while sharing hands on experiences designed to help you process the events of Holy Week. These experiences are most appropriate for kids ages 5-12. Parents should plan to allow about 45 minutes to go through the entire experience with their kids. This event is for both of our congregations and will be held at Christ Church Overland Park.

Station 1 - Taste some of the foods from a Passover meal.

Station 2 - Imagine yourself in the Garden of Gethsemane and write a prayer.

Station 3 - Carry a cross and imagine the emotions of Jesus and the Crowd

Station 4 - Understand the weight of sin and the power of forgiveness as you pound nails into a cross.

Station 5 - Smell some of the spices used to anoint Jesus' body and feel the linen from the tomb.

Station 6 - Celebrate the empty tomb by creating a "good news" rock.
