Hard to believe it’s officially been ONE YEAR since Pastor Jeremiah and Bre joined the Faith Chapel family!

From day one, they hit the ground running at our Overland Park campus. Jeremiah’s humorous, straightforward preaching and Bre’s authentic, grounded heart, along with the incredible energy their three daughters bring, have made this past year so special. We are so grateful for the love, honesty, and vision they bring to our church every single day. Here’s to Year 2!

It’s easy to live on autopilot—defaulting to the anxiety, cynicism, and relentless hustle that the world considers normal. But conforming to those patterns quietly reshapes our character, trapping us in cycles of mental fatigue and self-effort.

God doesn't call us to manage our behavior from the outside in; He calls for a deep, inward metamorphosis.

The word used here for transformed is metamorphoo—the same root for metamorphosis. It isn't a quick fix or a fresh coat of paint; it's a structural change at the deepest level.

Renewing your mind isn't just swapping out bad thoughts for good ones; it's surrendering the authority of your mind back to Christ. When you stop letting world-driven pressures dictate your worth, peace replaces panic, and God's purpose for your life becomes crystal clear.

What mental "pattern" have you accepted as normal that God is asking you to surrender? Lay down the need to strive, and let His truth quietly reshape your heart today.

Eight years ago today, our church family experienced a profound loss that changed us forever. We pause to honor and remember Hannah, Samara, and Tommy.

Though years have passed, their joy, their faith, and their impact continue to live on in our hearts and in our community. We hold their families close in prayer today, finding comfort in the enduring legacy they left behind and the steadfast hope we have in Christ.

They are deeply loved, forever missed, and never forgotten.
