Following Jesus was never meant to be a spectator sport. If we want to move from just sitting in a seat to truly making disciples, it requires a shift in our posture. It requires movement.
From this Sunday’s message on Mark 2, here are three practical ways we can move our faith into action this week:
1. Daily Trust: Start your morning by surrendering your fears and reputation to God. End your night by reflecting honestly on where you tried to control things using your own understanding.
2. Practice Grit & Humility: True connection means doing the unseen work. Choose one person in your life who is currently far from God, commit to praying for them daily, and find a way to serve them with zero desire for credit.
3. Walk in Bold Faith: Faith without action is dead. Take a concrete risk this week to grab a corner of someone's mat—invite them for coffee, ask them to church, or simply share what Jesus has done in your life.
God is looking for people he can do the impossible with. Let’s stop planning only for the things we can do on our own.
Which of these three steps are you focusing on today?
