Village Presbyterian Church On Antioch

Village Presbyterian Church On Antioch Village Presbyterian Church on Antioch and our Mission Campus comprise one family worshiping in two locations. Worship with us every Sunday morning at 10 a.m.

We offer an intimate setting for worship and fellowship while creating community through education and service opportunities at both locations. Beginning Sunday, Feb. 5, 2017, Village Church began a new ministry inside of The Presbyterian Church of Stanley. This new ministry opportunity points to the heart of who Village is as a congregation - a family of faith actively shaped by Christ to transfo

rm communities and serve our world. We have the opportunity to grow that family of faith down at 148th Street and Antioch, with the hope of transforming southern Johnson County to be a place of inclusive hospitality, where all are equal, all are welcome, and all are loved. The sermon message is streamed from the Village Presbyterian Church Mission Campus Sanctuary.

On Sunday, Rodger began his new sermon series, "The Theology of K-Pop Demon Hunters." We hear many voices every day. Not all of the voices are good. There are evil voices, too. Our task is to discern which voice is worthy of our attention. Jesus says his sheep follow him because they know his voice. The battle of voices is a central theme for both Rumi and Jinu. Our parking lot was buzzing with activity this morning as more than 60 Scouts and several dozen adults loaded trailers and trucks in preparation for their 10-day adventure at H. Roe Bartle Scout Reservation. Village Church has a long history of supporting scouting in our community. We’re thrilled to see the tradition continue! Sending prayers for a great 10 days of camping and fellowship.
