Day of Reflection sign ups are here! Join us as we dive into the mystery of God’s Heart of Mercy through the private revelations of Jesus to the saints.

Jesus, to St. Faustina: “Know that My Heart is mercy itself. From this sea of mercy, graces flow out upon the whole world. No soul has approached Me and ever gone away unconsoled.”

Anguished.
Scourged.
Pierced.
Hung.
Laid.
Loved.

To the One who gave everything for us, we wait.

We wait in anxiety when we’re not sure of what will happen next.

We wait in suffering when we’re not sure of when it will end.

We wait in fear when all hope seems lost and we don’t know what to do.

We wait.

We wait because of Him.

We persevere in the Love given to us, that sustains us, strengthens us, and encourages us, despite anything we are experiencing in the wait.

Because the wait increases our longing and capacity to receive. It increases our ache for the only One who can truly satisfy.

So let us learn to wait well, being stretched like Him on the cross, for He is worthy of it and simply desires for us to receive ALL of Him.

“To be sure, it was not Easter Sunday but Holy Saturday, but, the more I reflect on it, the more this seems to be fitting for the nature of our human life: we are still awaiting Easter; we are not yet standing in the full light but walking toward it full of trust.“
-Pope Benedict XVI

**So grateful and proud of these children who presented Christ’s Passion so beautifully! Thank you to the whole team and volunteers who made this happen in all aspects! All glory be to God!

“It is Jesus that you seek when you dream of happiness; He is waiting for you when nothing else you find satisfies you; He is the beauty to which you are so attracted; it is He who provides you with that thirst for fullness that will not let you settle for compromise…” -St. Pope John Paul II

Each summer, LifeTeen (the provider of our Youth Ministry and Faith Formation resources) invites Catholic parishes from across the country and their teens to come together for a week-long retreat experience. This time is packed with daily Mass, presentations from fantastic speakers, and powerful prayer experiences, along with classic camp activities, games, and plenty of time to play.

This year, Holy Family will have the opportunity to attend one week of middle school camp (July 26th to August 1st, at Hidden Lake in Dahlonega, GA) and one week of high school camp (July 5th to 11th, at Covecrest in Tiger, GA).

Though we would love to extend this opportunity to every student interested, each camp week has a capacity, and group leaders are limited by LifeTeen in the number of students they can bring. For this reason, we may have to wait-list or turn teens away once this capacity is reached. These decisions will be made with great discernment and consideration, striving to be as inclusive and impartial as possible.

Those interested in attending camp this summer should (1) review, as a family, the dates and information provided, and (2) complete the interest form linked below. This form will close to new submissions on March 31st.

What is a Steubenville Conference?
A 3-day Catholic conference for high school teens to encounter Christ through Eucharistic Adoration, the Sacraments, dynamic sessions, and small group time, produced by Franciscan University of Steubenville University and hosted by Life Teen to ignite lifelong discipleship.

What happens at Steubenville can’t be recreated in our parishes. In one powerful, Eucharistic weekend, God moves in ways that ignite faith, transform hearts, and breathes new life into our teens. Teens will get just a glimpse of what it really means to be a part of the Universal Church as thousands of teens gather from across the southern states for this conference.

Interested in joining us?! Sign up in our bio link!
Limited capacity.

“The Passion of Jesus is a sea of sorrows, but it is also an ocean of LOVE. Ask the Lord to teach you to fish in this ocean. Dice into its depths. No matter how deep you go, you will never reach the bottom.”
-St. Paul of the Cross

It is a great gift to contemplate Our Lord’s passion and death, especially during Lent!

Holy Family Youth Ministry will be presenting the Stations of the Cross and we are in need of middle and high school teens to participate (and mature 5th graders upon discussion). Service hours are provided for this event. Sign up by March 23rd by filling out this form in our bio link.

We adore You oh Christ and we praise You.
Because by Your holy cross You redeemed the world!

Imaculée Ilibagiza is a Catholic author and speaker, best known for her story of surviving the 1994 Rwandan genocide. She will lead our mini-mission this year, speaking on healing, forgiveness, and restoration.

As this will contain mature content, parent discretion advised for younger kids.

As we enter into this third week of Lent, it’s important to be reminded of our “Why?”

Why do we fast?
Why do we pray?
Why do we give of ourselves?

All for Jesus.

So that we can live this life well, so as to be in union with Him in the next - our ultimate fulfillment and happiness!

But just as we talked about on our high school spring retreat, we don’t just drift into Heaven; we don’t just drift closer to Jesus…It takes an act of the will, a free choice, to grow closer to Him!

That step, that free choice, is ALWAYS in response to God’s love, which initiates first!

So if you feel like you’ve already “failed” this Lent, a gentle reminder that the only “failed” Lent (and life!) is one that you didn’t let God into!

Begin again.

And again.

And let God love you.
