“Beloved People of God,
Like you, when I first heard Pope Leo XIV is diagnosed with lung cancer, my reaction was disbelief. Our belief in God is always the fore of our heart and so I ask you to join me in prayer for Pope Leo XIV that God will sustain his spirit through the pilgrimage of this illness and His everlasting comfort will hold our Holy Father within the palm of God’s hand. May our gathered prayer bring forth healing among all the people. May God’s love overwhelm our soul that we serve as instruments of His holy peace.”

✨ How can you celebrate St. Carlo Acutis' feast day?

Today we celebrate the feast day of St. Carlo Acutis! Known for being the first millennial saint and "God's influencer."

Here are three ways to follow his example:

🙏 Spend time with Jesus and the Saints. Join us on November 1 at 6:15 PM for Holy Hour, followed by relic veneration, including a relic of St. Carlo Acutis.

🕊️ Sign up for Adoration. Inspired by Carlo’s devotion to the Eucharist, make time to encounter Jesus in prayer in our 24/7 Adoration Chapel. Call 407-876-2211 for the code.

💻 Explore the faith online. Visit the Eucharistic miracles website that Carlo created to learn more about the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. https://www.miracolieucaristici.org/en/liste/list.html

May St. Carlo Acutis inspire us to grow in faith and draw closer to Christ!

Our Lady awaits you. ✝

Why October 7?
October 7 is the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary.

On October 7, 1571, Christian forces faced the Ottoman fleet at the Battle of Lepanto. Pope Pius V called the faithful to pray the Rosary, asking for Mary’s intercession. The Christian victory became closely associated with the Rosary, and October 7 was later established as the feast of Our Lady of the Rosary.

Where did the Rosary come from?
Catholic tradition holds that in 1214, Mary appeared to St. Dominic and entrusted the Rosary to him. The Dominican Order went on to play an important role in spreading the devotion throughout the Church.
