REMEMBERING THE EMANUEL 9: A Second District Virtual Service

Eleven years later, we still stand on the promises of God, anchored in love and draped in resilience.

The Second Episcopal District family invites you to join us online as we gather to honor the sacred memory and legacy of the Emanuel 9, our sisters and brothers who transitioned from labor to reward at Mother Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, SC.

Bishop Seawright will be speaking a word of comfort, strength, and continuous hope as we reflect on their lives and recommit ourselves to justice, faith, and unity.

VIRTUAL SERVICE DETAILS:
Date: Wednesday, June 17, 2026
Time: 7:00 PM EST
Location: https://youtube.com/live/6lvagT4yedA?feature=share
Where to Watch: Streaming live on our official YouTube and pages.

Let us pause as a District family to remember the lives lived, the faith kept, and the legacy that continues to inspire the global church.
