The singing of hymns is one of our oldest Methodist traditions, as we collectively lift our hearts and voices for the worship of God. Tomorrow, we celebrate this tradition as we worship and praise God with a service of scripture and favorite hymns.

"Speak to one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." - Ephesians 5:19-20

Juneteenth, June 19, is a federal holiday that marks the day enslaved African Americans in west Texas learned of their freedom. This was 2 ½ years AFTER the Emancipation Proclamation. Let’s all celebrate Freedom Day!
