Bethel Lutheran Church

Bethel Lutheran Church We are a community of believers where you Meet Jesus, Find Connection, and Make A Difference in the world to the glory of God. We are all broken people.

At Bethel we value nurturing relationships with God and each other. https://linktr.ee/BethelLutheranChurch Here at Bethel we firmly believe that we are all sinners, all imperfect people, all given to temptation. We all need help. We all need a Savior. But here at Bethel we also believe our only hope is in Jesus Christ, who has rescued us from eternal separation from God's grace. Only Jesus, who is

God, could establish a relationship between us and God; and so we believe that out of God's amazing love for His creation, He sent His only Son, Jesus, to die for our sins and show us how to love others. At Bethel, we also believe and teach that this is not the end of the story. Jesus is alive!! Jesus was raised to life and has taken up His throne in heaven where he reigns as our Master and Savior. Here and now, in the midst of the pain and strife in our lives, Jesus is helping and guiding us through tough times and is interceding for us with forgiveness as we continue to make mistakes and fall short of His glory. He also sends to us the Holy Spirit, who lives inside each of us and comforts, guides, directs, strengthens, and empowers us with spiritual gifts to use in this life. As our Master, Jesus' commands are not burdensome...love God, and love the people around you as you love and care for yourself. This is our call as Christians. We also know that death is part of life. But since Jesus is alive, we can be sure that Jesus will raise us to new and never-ending life when He returns! We will live with God forever in a new and perfect creation. But until that day comes, we at Bethel believe and teach that Jesus has called each of us by faith and commands us to go out in His name to share the Good News of salvation!

Happy Labor Day!

Today is a good reminder that even God built rest into the rhythm of life… so yes, taking a break is biblical.

We’re grateful for every teacher, farmer, nurse, mechanic, business owner, first responder, parent, volunteer, and hardworking neighbor who helps our community keep moving.

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.” — Colossians 3:23

So today, work hard when it’s time to work, rest well when it’s time to rest, and thank God for both.

Happy Labor Day — now go enjoy that extra day off!

Be the reason someone sees the goodness of God today.

A kind word. A helping hand. A patient response. A simple act of generosity.

We may never know how deeply a small expression of love can impact someone, but God can use ordinary moments to reveal His extraordinary goodness.

“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” — Matthew 5:16

Today, look for one opportunity to encourage, serve, forgive, or simply show someone they matter.

Let them see God’s goodness through you.

God comforts us in our struggles so we can become a source of comfort to others.

“He comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble…” — 2 Corinthians 1:4

What God carries you through may one day help you carry someone else.

Reset. Realign. Restart.

Sometimes life gets off track.

Our schedules get crowded. Our priorities get mixed up. Our hearts get tired. And before we know it, we’re running hard—but not always in the right direction.

Sometimes we don’t need to quit. We just need to pause long enough to let God redirect us.

Reset -> your heart when life feels overwhelming by spending time with Him.
Realign -> your priorities with God’s purpose.
Restart -> by taking the next faithful step.

Restarting doesn’t mean erasing the past. It means choosing to move forward with God—wiser, stronger, and more focused on where He is leading.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” — Proverbs 3:5

The good news is that God invites us to begin again.

You don’t have to wait for a new year, a new month, or a perfect moment.
Maybe this week is your chance to stop running on autopilot and begin moving with intention again. Today can be a fresh start.

Join us this weekend as we worship together and refocus our hearts on Jesus.

Busy… But Not Too Busy for Jesus

Life gets busy. Work, school, practices, appointments, errands, family commitments—the calendar fills up quickly.

And sometimes, without even realizing it, Jesus gets whatever time is left over.

But Jesus doesn’t want to be just another item on our to-do list. He wants to be at the center of it all—the One who gives us strength when we’re tired, peace when life feels overwhelming, and direction when we’re pulled in a hundred different ways.

“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness…” — Matthew 6:33

This week, in the middle of the busyness, make some room for Jesus. Pray. Open your Bible. Encourage someone. Worship. Even a few intentional moments can help refocus our hearts on what matters most.

Make time to join us for worship Saturdays 6pm, Sundays 8am & 10:45am

A receipt is proof that a transaction has taken place—that something was given, something was received, and the cost was paid.

As disciples of Jesus, our lives should be a kind of receipt: visible evidence of what God has done in us.

We have received something unique and priceless through Christ. He is our Advocate, our Savior, our Strength, our Coach, and our Trainer. His grace changes us, His Spirit shapes us, and His presence gives us strength for the journey.

When our faith is visible in the way we live, love, serve, forgive, endure, and encourage others, people can see the evidence.

Our lives become the receipt.

Proof that Jesus is real.
Proof that grace changes people.
Proof that God is still at work.

Join us for worship this month as we explore what it means to live as visible proof of God’s grace.

Come as you are. We’d love to worship with you.
