We are resuming our Wednesday morning Bible Study on Wednesday, September 8 at 6:00 a.m. We will be doing a deep dive into the 12th chapter of Romans, one of the greatest chapters of the Bible. In advance of our time, I might suggest that you read it over several time.

We are planning a breakfast at the Washington campus on Saturday, September 25 at 8:30 a.m. Put it on your calendar!

After some considerable discussion, the Marksmen leadership team decided not to continue the Thursday night Zoom study. However, we continue to look for ways to include men who cannot make the Wednesday in-person meetings. It is our plan to have a breakfast at the Washington campus twice every month. One week it will be followed by a study and one week it will be followed by a service project. In fact, our first Saturday breakfast will be THIS SATURDAY, March 13 at 8:30 a.m. It will be followed by a service project at the building. Come ready to work. The more the merrier and the quicker!

This Wednesday we will meet IN PERSON at 6:00 a.m. in Morton. Food will be provided and we will be sure to follow appropriate safety protocol.

We will continue our study of the character of Boaz. The more we study his character, the more I am impressed and challenged by his example and Godliness. This week we are in Chapter 4 of the book of Ruth. We will discuss a very hard subject---that of waiting on God. Waiting, for anything, is hard and demands patience which is often in short supply.

Join us this week as the drama of this book continues!!!

Beginning this week we will offer TWO meetings each week.

Wednesday we will begin meeting again IN PERSON at 6:00 a.m. in Morton. Food will be provided and we will be sure to follow appropriate safety protocol

Thursday we will launch a Zoom meeting each Thursday at 7:00 p.m. (moving the current time back by one hour). The invite to sign in is on the website.

We will have a breakfast at the Washington Campus on February 20 at 8:30 a.m. for everyone!

Our goal is to involve as many men as possible as we join together to grow in the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and become the man we need to become in our marriages, our families and our churches.

This week we will continue our study of the book of Ruth and focus on Chapter 2 and see how Boaz interacts with Ruth as a man of God should. Last week we noted that men of God need to be a protector and provider for the women in their life. This week it will be how Boaz learns about Ruth and her reputation and character. A Man of God looks for a woman of character, and does not focus just on the exterior beauty. We may venture in Proverbs 31 as well.

Hey, this week, we will continue our study of the book of Ruth. We are not meeting in person for the near future, but instead will meet, via Zoom, on this Thursday at 8:00 p.m. The invite to sign in is on the website. Specifically we are going to spend time on the topic that a man of God is a man of good standing with outsiders. Boaz was described as a man of standing. What exactly does that mean and what does it mean for us to strive to be a man of standing.

This new study and time is great opportunity for as many men as possible to join us. Our new study is on the book of Ruth. It may seem odd, but the real hero of the book of Ruth is Boaz. Our study will focus on Boaz, his character, his leadership, and how he was a Godly man and husband in his dealings with Ruth. If you can, read the first chapter of Ruth in preparation for this Thursday.

Men, We have 2 pastor candidates coming in over the next month, one coming in the first Weekend in December, only 8 days away. Each campus has put together a list of minor projects to spruce up the physical facilities to make the place in the best condition and exude excellence. They are putting together a work day this Saturday at 10 a.m. at both campuses to get right on it.

Hey all,
Don't miss our annual kick-off event this Saturday August 29 at the Washington campus! We'll have lunch off the grill at 11 am and break in our new disc golf course in the yard behind the church!
