Judi Farganus, a faithful friend of St. Peter Lutheran Church has passed, and we will miss her greatly. She was our resident joke lady! Sincere prayers and condolences to her family, and all who love her!

Pastors Pen:

Some take odds with a pastor speaking politically! Here is my view! I never endorse a candidate, but speaking against the ills of a representative should be expected regardless of their party affiliation when it harms those we should be loving.

Leading a faith community means you can't just look at the spiritual side of life while ignoring the very real, physical struggles your people face every single day. When the cost of groceries and gas skyrockets, it isn't just an economic statistic—it shows up directly at your church doors as benevolence requests from families wondering how they are going to keep food on the table and a roof over their heads.

Decisions made in local city halls and national government offices directly impact whether the vulnerable in your community find shelter or go without. While prayer is the absolute foundation of a faith community, prayer was never meant to keep us from having a voice.

Throughout history, speaking truth to power speaking out against "Rome"has been a vital duty of spiritual leadership. Standing up for what God has commanded regarding justice, mercy, and care for the needy will almost always put you at odds with the priorities of human government. True leadership requires the courage to speak up for your people's daily bread, ensuring that the voice of faith is heard where it matters most.

Pastors Pen!

I wanted to take a moment to express what an absolute honor and privilege it is to serve as your pastor. I love each and every one of you with the unconditional Love of God.

For those who were able to join us today, thank you for your presence and your spirit. To those who weren’t able to make it to service today, please know that you were truly missed, and you were in my thoughts.
My earnest prayer for our entire church family this week is for physical, mental, and spiritual strength.

I am praying that we will all gather together this week for Bible Study and come back united for next Sunday's service. There is a powerful work ahead of us as we dive back into the Word of God together, and it won't be the same without you.

May God bless you, protect you, and fill your week with His peace.

With love and blessings, good night!
