Sergio recently travelled to La Plata, Argentina (where he previously pastored the congregation, Puerta del Cielo). He ministered eleven times in the ten days he was there. He was pleasantly surprised with the level of unity, fellowship and cooperation he found among the pastors of the city.

One of the evenings, he was invited to minister at the Bible School organized by the Pastors Association of the city. Over 300 students had registered and were being trained in the Word. (Imagine people from several congregations receiving the same instruction!) Over 60 pastors were present at that meeting. The glory of the Lord fell in that place and people were set free and set on fire for ministry.

There was a meeting just for pastors of the city, hosted by a Baptist church. Over 100 pastors attended!

The last Sunday of Sergio's visit, there was a "going away" dinner held at one of the local churches. Most churches in the city have Sunday night service. I was surprised when Sergio told me 40 pastors showed up for the dinner.

"Don't they all have their own service to attend?" "Yes, but they all came to the dinner after their services had ended."

There was a beautiful atmosphere of joy and fellowship in that place! The pastors spontaneously sang together to the Lord, after dinner until past 1 AM! We believe the city is ripe for a new outpouring of the Holy Spirit and revival!

Con mucho pesar, y a la vez con paz, despedimos a nuestra querida amiga, María Olivieri de Manikis. Durante décadas (junto a su amado esposo, Ángel), sirvió fielmente en el hogar de niños Refugio del Rey. Fue una cocinera excepcional, pero en el hogar llegó a ser mucho más que eso: fue una abuela para muchos, una amiga cercana de los colaboradores y una persona muy querida por nuestra familia Scataglini, casi siempre con una sonrisa. María también fue participante en los grupos diarios de oración en Comunionet, dejando una huella de amor, servicio y fe en todos los que la conocieron. María, te vamos a extrañar profundamente. Descansa en paz. Nos volveremos a ver en la presencia del Señor.

Con mucho pesar y a la vez con paz, despedimos a nuestro amigo Raul Alberto Fernandez. Fue socio fundador de la Fundación Iniciativa Cristiana Argentina (con su amada esposa, Cielo, mis padres y el matrimonio Borgo). Emprendimos la aventura de plantar el Hogar de Niños, Refugio del Rey, y el Colegio Cristiano Principe de Paz. Raul fue amigo de la familia por 40 años. Raul me envió un audio, hace poco, cuando ya su enfermedad venía avanzando, “Yo estoy con la bendición de Dios, luchando. . .pero estoy contento así también peleándola, no con mis fuerzas sino con la paz que Dios te da, que me dió hace 40 años cuando me sacó del mundo y me puso en Su reino y me hizo nacer de nuevo."

Nos vemos allá arriba, Raul. ¡Gracias por tu amistad e integridad!

Thank you, Charlie Kirk for all you did in your short life. You made a huge difference and influenced many. We pray comfort for your family and staff. At 31, you gave your life for your faith and freedom.
We pray for in the nation and for believers to gain greater strength to speak out for the gospel without fear or shame, just as Charlie Kirk did.
