Representatives from the Community of St. James (formerly St. James School) will join us for worship on Sunday, September 13th. Over the past couple of years, we have partnered with St. James in a variety of ways. We look forward to updates on the name change, the upcoming school year, the new building, and new programs

The next meeting of the book group will be held on Wednesday, September 2nd @ 6:30 p.m. here at St. Matthew’s. The group will be discussing Whistler by Ann Patchett. Join us! Looking ahead, the book that will be discussed on October 7th is The Calamity Club by Kathryn Stockett.

St. Matthew’s parishioners are longtime supporters of the Mattie Dixon Community Cupboard, and we thank you for all your past support! The Cupboard's greatest needs right now are for: brown rice, brownie mix, coffee, corn, crackers, juice boxes, ketchup, marinades, mayonnaise, canned mixed vegetables, cooking oil, Progresso and other chunky soups, ramen, shelf stable whole milk, sugar, baby wipes, dish soap, laundry detergent & pods, paper towels, shampoo. Offerings can be placed in the bins located outside the kitchen or narthex doors.
