Christ Church is a welcoming, family-centered Episcopal Church community in Manhasset. Together, we are anchored in worship, united in community with one another and our neighbors, and we grow together as disciples of Jesus. We are open to all, and invite all to join us. Sunday Services:

A wonderful afternoon at Christ Church dedicating a sign honoring 5 American Revolutionary War patriots who are buried in our graveyard. It was a pleasure to welcome Supervisor Jennifer DeSena and Tom Suozzi to our ceremony alongside our partners in this endeavor, The Sons of the American Revolution. This was an exciting way for us to honor this unique history at our parish as we also celebrate the 250th anniversary of our nation.

Summer at Christ Church! Join us for our summer offerings!

•June 17 at Noon: we will hold a celebratory ceremony honoring five patriots from the revolutionary war. In our graveyard.
•June & July: Tuesday evenings at 7pm, Father Stephen will offer an adult formation series on the early church, and how our faith was formed in the early days of Christian life. These classes will be both in person in the Guild Room as well as on Zoom.
•Our annual Summer Home Communions kickoff at the end of this month. Join us for these wonderful evenings of fellowship hosted by our fellow parishioners.

This past Sunday was The First Sunday after Pentecost: Trinity Sunday. From there the church year moved into The Season after Pentecost. This season is also known as “ordinary time” because each Sunday is marked by ordinal numbers showing the number of Sundays after Pentecost. For example, this coming Sunday is The 2nd Sunday after Pentecost. During this season we switch the liturgical color from white, on Trinity Sunday, to green for the majority of the summer into the fall.

On The Last Sunday after Pentecost: Christ the King Sunday, we change the liturgical color to white. This is the final Sunday before we move into the season of Advent.
