At the Celebration of Life and Ministry service, the Kentucky Annual Conference gathered to remember saints who have gone before us, give thanks for retiring clergy, celebrate newly licensed local pastors, and witness the commissioning and ordination of new leaders for the church.

It was a beautiful reminder that ministry is received, shared, and passed from one generation to the next.

"These are not just words on a page or on a screen. They are being lived out in our churches and our ministries across Kentucky."

During Monday's session of the Kentucky Annual Conference, members celebrated the ways the Five Discipleship Priorities are taking root across our conference through baptisms, leadership development, mental health ministries, racial reconciliation efforts, and more.

The conference also affirmed a Statement of Confession, Repentance, Apology, and Resolve regarding racism and discrimination. Following the statement, Bishop David Graves offered a personal apology and called the conference to continue the work of justice, healing, reconciliation, and discipleship.

Happening today at 4pm! We look forward to gathering as a district to worship, fellowship, celebrate, and accomplish district business. All are welcome to stay afterwards for a retirement reception for Kevin Burney. We will see you there!

District conference will be held at Frankfort St Paul UMC on Sunday, May 17 at 4:00 PM. Address is 1800 Louisville Rd. Frankfort, KY. This will be a time for us to come together to celebrate ministry, worship, and to vote on budget. We will also talk about important info related to annual conference. All are welcome.

The Commission on the Status and Role of Women (COSROW) is seeking volunteers to serve as monitors during this year’s Annual Conference. Monitors play a vital role in observing and recording who is given voice and visibility in our sessions. We’ve made it easy to get involved!
