We are so excited to host Peacemakers Summer Camp at ConnectioN Point this summer. Do you know a kid age 4-13 who is looking for something fun to do? We will meet June 15-17th from 5:30-7:30 pm. We will have dinner, play games, make crafts, and learn together. We will have a water day on the last day of camp (which will be extra fun)! We just ask that you sign up.

We are so excited to welcome Carol Ekdahl-Garwood as a special guest this Sunday. Carol is Co-Chair of the Steering Committee for United Methodists for Kairos Response (UMKR), Chair of the United Methodist Great Plains Conference Holy Land Task Force, and a member of Nebraskans for Peace – Palestinian Rights Task Force.

Carol will have a session after our worship service to speak about the Kairos Palestine II document. This is an official theological statement and cry for justice released in late 2025 by a coalition of Palestinian Christian leaders. It is a decisive turning point in the Palestinian Christian liberation movement and a challenge to the conscience of Christians everywhere. Christ UMC will be at Star City Pride again this June!
-Parade on Saturday, June 13th at 10:00am at the Capitol.
-Booth at the Festival following the Parade from 12:00 to 8:00 pm at 17th and O near Das Haus. COME SEE US!!

At ConnectioN Point we hope to remind others just how much worth they have, even if they feel like life has knocked them down. We hope our pantry provides more than just food, we hope our English classes provide more than language, we hope our block parties provide more than food---we hope they provide real community.
