We’re looking for volunteers to help beautify our Sumner Campus on June 6th!

Our Facilities Team will be spreading mulch in several areas around the church and school, and we would love for you to join us as we work together to care for and improve our campus grounds. Water and tools will be provided, and you are welcome to bring your own gloves if you’d like. No sign-up is required, but it is helpful so we can anticipate how many volunteers to expect.

Thank you for helping us care for the spaces where our church and school community gathers each day!

“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” — Proverbs 22:6

Whether you are a parent, teacher, coach, grandparent, mentor, or friend, the way you love, encourage, and guide the children in your life matters more than you may realize. The small moments of offering kindness, showing patience, speaking truth, praying with them, listening, and leading by example, can leave a lasting impact on a child’s heart and faith for years to come.

As we begin this new week, may you be encouraged knowing that God works through ordinary moments and faithful relationships to help shape the next generation.

Today is Holy Trinity Sunday!

One of the biggest questions many children (and adults!) ask is: “How can God be Father, Son, and Holy Spirit all at the same time?” The Trinity can be difficult to understand because it reminds us just how big and amazing God truly is!

The Bible teaches us that there is one God in three persons—God the Father, God the Son (Jesus), and God the Holy Spirit. Each person of the Trinity is fully God, yet together they are one. While we may never fully understand this mystery, we can trust what God tells us about Himself through His Word.

If you’ve ever struggled to explain the Trinity to your children, this video does a good job helping break down this beautiful and important truth of our faith in a way kids can better understand. For a more in depth explanation check out this video: bibleproject.com/videos/god-video/

Take a look at our 211 Worship Set Lists and prepare your heart for worship this weekend!

Taking a few moments during the week to listen to the songs we’ll be singing on Sunday can help you become more familiar with the lyrics, reflect on the truths being sung, and enter worship with a more prepared heart.

Whether you listen on your drive to work, while making dinner, or during a quiet moment in your day, we invite you to spend time reflecting on these songs and the promises of God they proclaim. We can’t wait to worship together this weekend!

On Sunday morning, we sent off 43 middle school students and adult leaders as they headed to Lutheran Valley Retreat in Colorado for a week of faith, service, and community together!

During their time at camp, the group will be serving through fire mitigation efforts while also spending time in God’s Word, building friendships, and experiencing the beauty of God’s creation all around them. They’ll also have the opportunity to enjoy many of the activities and adventures the camp has to offer!

Please join us in praying for safe travels, meaningful relationships, joyful memories, and hearts that grow deeper in faith throughout the week. We are excited to see how God will work in the lives of these middle school students and leaders during this special time together!

Monday Motivation:

Holiday weekends often give us a chance to slow down, rest, and spend time with the people we love. As we prepare to return to our normal routines tomorrow, may we do so with renewed hearts and a fresh sense of purpose for the work God has placed before us.

No matter how big or small our tasks may seem, God can work through each moment, conversation, and act of service for His glory. May we step into this new week rested, encouraged, and ready to serve Him faithfully wherever He has called us.

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

We are grateful for their sacrifice, courage, and the freedoms we are blessed to enjoy because of them. As we gather with family and friends today, may we also take time to reflect with thankful hearts and remember those who served so selflessly.

“Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.” — John 15:13
