Throughout our recent sermon series, we’ve been reminded that our everyday work can be holy work. Whether we serve in an office, classroom, jobsite, home or anywhere in between, God can use our unique vocations to serve the people around us and further His mission.

This Labor Day, may we remember that whatever we do, we can do it for the Lord. May we take joy in the work that He has given us to do! Happy Labor Day!

to our High School Mission trip to the Cheyenne Reservation in South Dakota!

Looking back on this trip, our group learned that one of the best ways we can love others is the way Jesus did—with a humble heart and a willingness to serve.

Throughout the week, they stepped outside their comfort zones, got sweaty and tired, listened to new ideas and perspectives, and built deeper friendships along the way. Most importantly, they grew in their relationships with God and saw how He can work through them as they serve others.

What does Spider-Man have to do with vocation?

Pastor Potts shares Martin Luther’s picture of vocation: we are the “masks” God puts on as He cares for His people.

Through your vocation, God gives you unique opportunities to bring His love, comfort and Good News to the world. He works through ordinary people doing ordinary jobs to care for and provide for others.

Your work matters because God works through you. Through your words, your service and your hands. As you go about your week, remember that God is working through you and that what you do each day matters. Whatever your vocation, may you do it all to the glory of God!

Are you a woman looking to grow in your faith and connect with others?

Join us for Monday Mornings for Women, a Bible study that meets throughout the school year at our Sumner Campus. Together, this group walks through biblical narratives, discovering what God's Word teaches us and how His truth applies to our everyday lives.

This year, the group will focus on “Waiting on God's Perfect Timing.” Through stories throughout Scripture, they'll explore what God can teach us in seasons of waiting, uncertainty, and trusting His plans, even when we can't yet see what He's doing.

Whether you're looking for deeper study, meaningful conversation, or a community of women to grow alongside, we'd love to have you join us!

Join us in praying for Deb as she begins an exciting new chapter of mission work in Taiwan! 🙏🌏

For many years, Deb faithfully served students as a PE teacher at Christ Lincoln Schools. Now, she has answered a new call to serve—this time across the world in Taiwan!

Soon, Deb will begin teaching English and Bible classes to children, many of whom have never heard the Good News of Jesus. We pray that God works through her to share His love, light, and joy with every student she meets.

Please join us in praying for Deb as she prepares for this journey—for safe travels, meaningful relationships, open hearts, and opportunities to share the Gospel so that ALL may know Him!
