History
The Nebraska United Methodist Foundation was incorporated in 1965. In 1998, the Nebraska United Methodist Extension Foundation (incorporated in 1958) merged with the NUMF. The Foundation now manages more than $50 million for donors, churches, and institutions. Objectives
Our responsibility is to partner with churches, agencies, and individual members of the Conference in the development of
gifts and the management of assets so as to provide maximum benefit for those whom we serve. The Foundation staff will assist churches and agencies through:
•The creation and development of endowment funds;
•Presentations of Foundation investment services;
•Gift & estate planning seminars for church groups;
•Fund development workshops;
•Pre-capital campaign workshops;
•Planned gift visits with individuals; and
•Stewardship sermons (limited dates available). There is no cost to churches and other Conference ministries for the services listed above. Please call to schedule dates when we can be of service to you.
