Glory Comfort Dog

Glory Comfort Dog LCC K-9 Comfort Dogs are friends who bring a calming influence, allowing people to open up. Comfort Dogs are available to visit your church or group.

John 1:14 NIV 14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. Glory is a trained LCC K-9 Comfort Dog at Christ Lutheran Church in Lincoln, Nebraska. She serves every day in the community in which she is placed and is deployed in times of disaster and crisis to bring comfort to all

those affected, including first responders and the volunteers who serve them. Glory is a friend who brings a calming influence and allows people to open up their hearts and receive help for what is affecting them.

I got to see my Christ Lincoln YH kids, how special! I know I was there to comfort them, but it was just as special to me! All their little hands and hugs comforted me.

I had the honor and privilege to visit the Cedars CLC summer program at Hartley Elementary. I met so many wonderful children and enjoyed every pet, pat, and hug that day. Summer is one of the best times to slow down, relax, and breathe. Lord, I pray that You will remind my children daily that Your love for them is everlasting.

Psalm 118:24 “This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”

My handlers are so amazing! I look to them for guidance and security. I know they have my best interest at heart and have such a passion for taking me out into the community to spread some comfort and love.
Here is a special moment between me and one of my handlers 💙

It was a beautiful morning at St.Paul’s Lutheran Early Childhood program at The St. Paul’s Center in Council Bluffs, where I shared gentle cuddles, wagging tails, some golden glitter and a lot of smiles with my dear friends!

“And he took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them and blessed them.”

What a wonderful day at Union College! I met so many new students from as far east as New York and as far west as California. I hope my presence brought smiles, comfort, and friendship; and I wish each student has a blessed, joyful, and successful year filled with God’s guidance and care.❤️

I love when I get to make new friends at the Beatrice Community Hospital. They are special names on our daily prayer list. We thank God for the opportunity to show them that they are loved.

Eden Comfort Dog and I were honored to be invited to participate in the Retreat and Refresh Stroke Camp, organized by the United Stroke Alliance. It was where we met stroke survivors, their caregivers and families, as well as community support staff. This year’s theme was “Mardi Gras”, featuring games, educational speakers, support groups and fun activities. This event brought a community of people together going through similar trials of life after a stroke. Strokes can completely change people’s lives and change what your day to day with your family might look like, but there is hope and a bunch of people there ready to help build you back up. Very special group of people that completely touched me and my team. What an amazing opportunity to give a lot of hugs and comfort!!

“Encourage one another and build each other up.” 1 Thessalonians 5:11
