Glory Comfort Dog LCC K-9 Comfort Dogs are friends who bring a calming influence, allowing people to open up. Comfort Dogs are available to visit your church or group.

John 1:14 NIV 14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. Glory is a trained LCC K-9 Comfort Dog at Christ Lutheran Church in Lincoln, Nebraska. She serves every day in the community in which she is placed and is deployed in times of disaster and crisis to bring comfort to all

those affected, including first responders and the volunteers who serve them. Glory is a friend who brings a calming influence and allows people to open up their hearts and receive help for what is affecting them.

A huge thanks to Union Adventist University for letting us walk on their beautiful campus and in the Reiner Wellness Center. As we finished walking and training, I was able to greet and comfort someone who was also training and working hard.

Physical training can positively relate to spiritual training:
“Remember that in a race everyone runs, but only one person gets the prize. You also must run in such a way that you will win. All athletes practice strict self-control. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize. So I run straight to the goal with purpose in every step. I am not like a boxer who misses his punches. I discipline my body like an athlete, training it to do what it should. Otherwise, I fear that after preaching to others I myself might be disqualified” (1 Corinthians 9:24-27, NLT).

I was honored to visit Lincoln Fire Station #2 on N 33rd Street! Those firemen were so nice! There was a dog there that lives with one of the firefighters helping today that does search and rescue! I didn’t get to meet it but I also search for people that need rescued! The firefighters were so interested in what I do and how I learned to do it. They also liked the treats I brought for them!

The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

People who are used to smiling for the camera every day are seen grinning from ear to ear at the sight of Priscilla Comfort Dog and I at their work place. 10/11 News staff participate in the Wellness Week activities. The comfort and love was well deserved after four stressful days of reporting the inclement weather and aftermath of storms and numerous tornadoes.

The 6th graders at Lincoln Lutheran did a “mission fair” where each student got the opportunity to research different missions. One of my teammates spotted these two posters all about the Comfort Dog Ministry. These kids are so precious!
