Glory Comfort Dog LCC K-9 Comfort Dogs are friends who bring a calming influence, allowing people to open up. Comfort Dogs are available to visit your church or group.

John 1:14 NIV 14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. Glory is a trained LCC K-9 Comfort Dog at Christ Lutheran Church in Lincoln, Nebraska. She serves every day in the community in which she is placed and is deployed in times of disaster and crisis to bring comfort to all

those affected, including first responders and the volunteers who serve them. Glory is a friend who brings a calming influence and allows people to open up their hearts and receive help for what is affecting them.

We love to share about this ministry and had a great visit at Messiah Lutheran Church. After kids had an opportunity to give me some love, we enjoyed talking with the senior group about the LCC K-9 Comfort Dog Ministry and our team. I love resting her head on the people I get to meet!

I got to go to the 16th Annual Veterans Freedom Music Festival! My handler told me that these men and women are heros! I felt very honored to be petted by them. I saw a statue honoring military K-9s. Now THOSE dogs were brave! I even wore my patriotic bandana. I got to see some beautiful Quilts of Valor too!

Thank you for your years of hard work and dedication Solomon Comfort Dog and team!

You may see my wagging tail, friendly face, and loving eyes at every visit, but what you may not see is all the hard work that goes on behind the scenes! My team is made up of more than 30 volunteers who pour into this ministry in their free time. We have handlers, ministry partners, people who handle all administrative duties (scheduling, financials, communications, you name it). Additionally, our gracious donors who help us fund traveling to visits and provide to my needs. I could not do any of this without them! I may be the one you’re smiling at or getting a hug from, but there’s plenty of people who helped get me here.

Thank you team, I love you all dearly!
