Last Sunday our Sunday School students had the opportunity to share the message of Jesus' birth and life in our annual children's Christmas program. We had such a fun time in Sunday School assembling 412 "Meals to Go" sack lunches for People's City Mission, complete with cards of encouragement decorated by our kids! Thank you to our kids and volunteer leaders for all the work put into our Impact Sunday! We're grateful for our children's Sunday School offerings, Thrivent Action Teams, and the surprising donation of $100 by a kind stranger at Walmart for funding this project. We pray blessings on all those who will eat these lunches! So wonderful to see God at work!

The epic battle between moms and sons continues! Join us for NERF wars, target practice and games on Friday, March 8 from 6:30-8pm. Cost to attend is $10/person. Moms and sons (grades K-8th) are invited to join. Bring your own blaster and we’ll supply the standard blue darts and eye protection. We encourage moms to treat their sons to a special dinner before you arrive. We’ll provide the desserts and drinks! Register online at christlincoln.org. Dust off your dancing shoes for our annual Ties & Tiaras on Friday, March 1 from 6:30-8pm at the Sumner Campus. Gentlemen and young ladies (grades K-8th) are invited to join us for an evening of dancing and activities, photos formal and casual, sweet treats, and other delightful surprises! We encourage gentlemen to treat their young ladies to a special dinner before you arrive. We'll provide the desserts and drinks! Cost is $10 per person. Register online at christlincoln.org/children. Our family-friendly Ash Wednesday services will begin at 5:30pm in our 211 worship spaces at both campuses with music, prayer, a short message, and the imposition of ashes. Families will then head to our larger meeting spaces for mission projects, crafts, Bible activities, discussion, prayer, and of course: our traditional warm pretzels! Join us for yard games, hayrack rides, a bonfire, connecting with one another, and more! Come and go as you please on October 1 from 4-8pm. Hot dogs and S’mores will be provided. Families are asked to bring a side dish or dessert. This is a great opportunity for Christ Lincoln families to connect with new families and reconnect with old friends. We're so thankful for this wonderful team who volunteered during their Small Group time to help us prepare decorations and supplies for our "Stellar" VBS! Does this look like fun? Come join us tonight 5/17, any time between 5:30 and 8:00pm in the worship space at our Yankee Hill Campus! This will be a great time of fellowship as we craft, sort, glue, cut, paint, and more! There will be projects for all ages (kids and adults!) as we prep for VBS!

Thank you for being part of our Impact Sunday! Together, our kids made around 360 sack lunches for People's City Mission! Each sack lunch included a card of encouragement. We're grateful for our children's Sunday School offerings and Thrivent for making this possible. What a joy to see so many servant hearts coming together in the name of Jesus to care for others!
