CalvaryLansdale Calvary Baptist Church {Growing Disciples that Make Disciples} We exist to love God, love people, and make disciples of Jesus Christ.

As a local church located in Lansdale, PA, we are called to carry out the Great Commission and the Great Commandment of God. Our mission drives everything we do, from the ministries we provide to the resources we produce. We hope this calling serves as an invitation to actively participate with us in the work of the Lord rather than remain a passive observer.

What could be better than having Jesus physically with us? Jesus himself said it's better that He goes so the Holy Spirit can come. This isn't just religious talk—it's a game-changing reality for every believer.

The Holy Spirit isn't a distant force. He's God Himself taking up residence inside you, transforming you from the inside out. He produces love, joy, peace, patience, and kindness in places where you once struggled. He empowers you with spiritual gifts to serve others. He walks with you through every dark moment, ensuring you're never alone.

But here's the challenge: Are we experiencing His power? Or are we tolerating unconfessed sin, neglecting prayer, and living for ourselves instead of on mission? The Spirit is ready to work—are we willing to yield?

Your life isn't about achieving comfort. It's about being transformed and transforming others through God's power within you.

Pastor Matt leads us through the doctrinal points of "Man, Sin, and Salvation" Here is a little teaser - find the full message on our page, and coming soon to our website (calvarylansdale.org.messages)

Answering a sticky note prompt..."You Matter" Pastor Matt asks... "Why do you matter?"

Not chance or cosmic accident, but because the sovereign God of the universe handcrafted you with purpose. You were knit together in your mother's womb, made in His image to rule, reign, and live in relationship with Him forever.

But there's a problem: sin separates us from our Creator. The good news? God didn't leave us in our brokenness. He sent Jesus—the perfect Lamb—to pay the price we couldn't pay. Through His death and resurrection, the wall of separation was torn down. Now there's one way back: turn from sin and trust in Christ.

You're not a random collection of atoms. You're an image-bearer with inherent dignity and eternal worth. God made you. God loves you. And Jesus died to restore you to the relationship you were created for. Have you received this free gift of salvation?

How do you explain the unexplainable? Our amazing God exists as three distinct persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—yet remains one God. This isn't a puzzle to solve, but a truth to embrace by faith.

The same God who spoke creation into existence, who knows the number of hairs on your head, who calmed storms and conquered death—this God invites you into relationship. He's omniscient (all-knowing), omnipotent (all-powerful), and omnipresent (always with you). Unlike us, He never changes. While we're time-bound and constantly shifting, He remains the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Here's what matters most: This triune God has made a way for you through Jesus Christ. "Whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life" (John 5:24). The Holy Spirit convicts, the Son saves, and the Father welcomes you home. Will you trust the unchangeable God with your eternal soul?

The Christian life isn't about behavior modification—it's about total transformation. Just like renovating an old house, God rebuilds us from the inside out through His Word, His Spirit, and His people.

You can't grow alone. God designed the church as the essential environment for your sanctification. Look around—the believers sitting next to you aren't just faces in a crowd. They're part of God's plan to sharpen you, encourage you, and help you become more like Christ. Iron sharpens iron, but it gets messy in the process.

Baptism and communion aren't just religious rituals—they're visible proclamations that you belong to Jesus. They're given to remind us of what's coming when we sit at the table with our Savior.

The Christian life is a transforming journey where God shapes you into Christ through His Word, His Spirit, and His people—calling you to actively respond in every part of life. Like Exercise - Don't just believe its a good idea; be transformed by it.

Who is Jesus? This is the most important question you'll ever answer.

He is 100% God and 100% man—the eternal Son who stepped into our world through a miraculous birth. He lived the perfect life we couldn't live, died the death we deserved, and rose victorious over sin and death. As our great High Priest and Advocate, Jesus stands before the Father on our behalf, saying "They belong to Me. I have already paid for their sin."

Every miracle He performed, every word He spoke, every nail that pierced His hands—all evidence of divine love pursuing broken humanity. In Christ, we find everything we need for salvation and spiritual life. He is sufficient. He is merciful. He is faithful.

"Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing!" (Revelation 5:12)

This is who we trust with our souls, both now and forever. This we believe.
