Covenant Community Fellowship

Covenant Community Fellowship We are a friendly, informal congregation of people who love the Lord and would love to meet you! We would like to invite you to get to know us!

Covenant Community Fellowship is not just a building or a program; it's people. The heart of our church is relationships; people caring for people. We envision the transformation of persons, families, and neighborhoods by the power of the Holy Spirit through authentic caring community that serves the needs of others around us. Our worship service is contemporary in nature with Bible-based teaching

and instruction. Our hope is that each person who worships with us on Sunday morning will encounter the life-transforming power available through Jesus Christ and that everyone walks away from our service knowing they have been in the presence of the Living God.

Show us your Post-It notes! šŸ“

āž”ļøTake this week’s challenge and prioritize God’s presence.

🟨 As you acknowledge God’s presence, write ā€œGod is Hereā€ on a post-it note and place it wherever you are… all week long!

Pastor Steve preached the 17th and final sermon of The Life of David series, walking through 2 Samuel 23: 1-7 and highlighted 4 aspects of David’s life:
1ļøāƒ£David’s Identity
2ļøāƒ£David’s Purpose
3ļøāƒ£David’s Destiny
4ļøāƒ£David’s Warning

Lifeā€˜s highest priority is the presence of God!

Logan challenged us on Sunday to think about our gifts…
1ļøāƒ£Check your gifts
2ļøāƒ£Evaluate their purpose
3ļøāƒ£Glorify God

Take a look at the gifts God has given you. How are you helping others? What are you doing for others? How can you use your gifts for Godā€˜s glory?

Hold each other accountable and glorify the Lord with what he has given us!

On Sunday, Pastor Steve continued the series on the Life of David and used dominos representing David’s choices, demonstrating a chain reaction.

There are seven choices David made from the time he sinned with Bathsheba that led to a chain reaction that destroys his family and could’ve destroyed his kingdom.

In summary, it’s always better to try to do the right thing than doing nothing! Go ahead and do the hard thing!

What a beautiful time of fellowship, food, and encouragement as we gathered for our Women’s Lunch on Saturday.

Our theme, Rooted in Faith, focused on staying grounded in God through life’s changes. We reflected on two truths:
🌿 Deep Roots = Steady Life
🌿 What You’re Rooted In Matters

It was a meaningful time of connection, reflection, and conversation. Grateful for the women who joined, for Dana sharing, and for Bev hosting. We love this growing community of women.

Thank you, Paul for delivering the sermon on Sunday, walking us through Psalm 51 telling of Godā€˜s mercy after David confessed his sins and received forgiveness.

ā¤ļøOur hearts need to be cleaned and changed—and only God can do this.

ā–ŖļøDo we acknowledge our sin?
ā–ŖļøDo we justify our sin?
ā–ŖļøDo we repent and ask God for forgiveness?

His love for us doesn’t change! šŸ™šŸ»

What a blessing it was to have so many willing hands at Living Streams Ranch on Saturday! It was a great day as we worked together on a variety of projects.

Beyond the work that was accomplished, it was wonderful to experience such unity and love in the Body of Christ. New friendships were formed, relationships were strengthened, and the joy of serving together was evident throughout the day.

Thank you to everyone who came out and invested their time, energy, and hearts. Your efforts will help us welcome and serve many ranchers this summer!

We continued with The Life of David series and the moment he falls.

Sin affects more people than we think it does - it always hurts other people.

Davis takes no accountability for his actions - he rationalizes his sin. Nathan the prophet tells David a parable and David misses the irony.

It’s always easier to see where other people messed up and not see our own sin.

David finally reached a turning point, realized his consequences, and humbled himself.

It’s never too late to do the right thing!

How do we avoid ending up like David?
(Scroll the photos to see the 5 reasons below ā¬‡ļø and listen to the sermon replay)

This week, ask yourself:
ā–ŖļøIf I fell like David - what would that look like?
ā–ŖļøHow would I fall?
ā–ŖļøWhat would the consequences be?
