CalvaryLansdale - Calvary Teens Know your Bible
Grow in your faith
Show God's love to others TYC
Teen Youth Chapel is the main meeting for our youth group every week from September-May.

We meet on Wednesdays from 7-8:15 pm to worship God through hanging out, playing group games, singing songs of praise, learning from the Bible, discussing life and praying together. We would love for you to come and be a part of this time as we encourage one another to walk closer with Christ! Teen Sunday School
Sunday school meets every Sunday morning from 9:15-10:15. This is the place where smal

l group discipleship takes place in our youth group as we do more specific Bible studies. From September-June the classes are divided into groups by age and gender (Jr. High Guys/Girls; Sr. High Guys/Girls). These Sunday school classes are led by a few adults who love God and want to invest in the lives of the teens. During the summer months of July and August the teens will all meet together in the Youth Room to study together. Join us for this time together as we learn how to read and study the Bible! Outreach
God has a heart for sinners and those in relationship with him should have this same passion. As a youth ministry our desire is to take part in God’s work of spreading the gospel in the Lansdale community by sharing his truth with teenagers. We have a teen Youth Center open for high school students to attend after school on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from September-May. By providing snacks, games, and activities for the teens to enjoy we create the opportunity to share life with student we may not meet otherwise. Our primary desire is that the teens at Calvary would take interest in other students from the community and use those relationships to tell them about Jesus’ love. Activities
Part of youth ministry is providing safe ways for the teens to have fun while growing in their love for God and for others. As a youth group we offer monthly activities. These activities aim to accomplish outreach to unbelievers, growth for believers, training for ministry, and sending out to do ministry. Our desire is to always do these activities with a purpose while still having a great time with others in the youth group.

March 16–17 is more than just dates on a calendar… it’s a reminder.

Take a moment today and tomorrow to slow down and reflect on some of the most powerful words ever spoken:

“For God so loved the world…”

Let that truth sink in again—not just something you know, but something you believe, something that shapes your heart.

✨ First night of CTU Survivor was a blast! 🎉 Team games helped us kick off the adventure! Challenging ourselves from 1 John 2:1–6 — that we’re called to walk like Jesus. 🦶💡 Life is messy, challenges are real, but when we work together and keep our eyes on Him, we find strength, joy, and purpose. 💪✝️

It’s easy to fill every moment with activity, but not every activity is life-giving. Not everything we do strengthens our faith, restores our soul, or draws us closer to Jesus. That’s why Proverbs 4:23 tells us to be vigilant—to watch carefully how we invest our attention, our energy, and our time.

This weekend, before you step into the next plan or scroll through the next post, ask yourself:

Is this feeding my heart or draining it?

Am I making space for Jesus, or just filling space?

Take time for Jesus this weekend. Whether it’s a morning prayer, a few minutes in His Word, a walk where you talk to Him, or even worship in the quiet—your heart needs it more than you know.

Prayer
Lord, help me slow down and guard my heart this weekend. In all the fun, plans, and rest, help me not forget You. Help me choose what brings life. Amen.

CTU - Is time feeling crunched this Labor Day weekend?
What all are you trying to fit in?

If your to-do list is growing and the hours feel short, you’re not alone. Weekends like Labor Day—meant for rest—can easily become packed with plans, travel, chores, or catching up on everything we’ve postponed. But in the midst of our hustle, God gently invites us to pause.

“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10, ESV

Stillness isn’t about doing nothing; it’s about remembering who holds time in His hands. As we try to fit everything in, let’s not forget to fit in time with the One who holds it all together. What if rest isn’t something we earn after we’ve done enough—but something we receive as a gift from the God who is always enough?

This weekend, even in the busyness, take moments to pause, breathe, and be still with God. Let your time reflect not just what you want to do, but who you want to become.

Reflection:
What would it look like to start this weekend with just five minutes of stillness before God—letting Him reset your pace and priorities?

Yeah, summer’s almost over... but before we shift into school mode, here are 3 reasons to stop and give God some praise:

He got you through it.
Whether it was awesome or kind of rough, God was there the whole way.

He gave you moments to breathe.
The laughs, the sunsets, the late nights—God is the one who fills life with meaning.

He doesn’t change when the seasons do.
God’s still good, still faithful, still with you—no matter what’s next.

📖 “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!” – Psalm 150:6 (ESV)

So yeah—before summer’s totally gone, take a second and just thank Him.

“Blessed is the one who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.”
— James 1:12 (ESV)

The start of a new school year brings excitement—but also challenges. New classes, new teachers, new schedules, and sometimes, new fears. James 1:12 is a reminder that God sees your effort to keep going, even when it’s hard.

Steadfast means sticking with it, showing up, and trusting God—even when the math is tough, friendships are confusing, or confidence feels low. And God promises something amazing: When you keep walking with Him, He rewards your faithfulness.

Whether you're packing lunches, riding the bus, facing big tests, or making new friends—God is with you. He’s cheering you on, strengthening your heart, and growing your faith.

So as you prepare to go back to school, go with courage. Stay steady. Stay kind. Stay close to Jesus.

Prayer:
God, help me stay strong and steady this school year. When I feel nervous or overwhelmed, remind me that You are with me. Help me love You and trust You every step of the way. Amen.

On Tuesday CTU posted a story with Psalm 34:4 - let's think about it a little bit more today!

“I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears.”
— Psalm 34:4 (ESV)

Fear has a way of creeping into our hearts—quietly at first, then suddenly overwhelming. It paralyzes progress, steals peace, and clouds perspective. But Psalm 34:4 is a lifeline: not a call to pretend fear doesn’t exist, but an invitation to bring it to the Lord.

David didn’t conquer fear by ignoring it—he sought the Lord. He cried out, and God answered. And the result? Freedom. Not just from the situation, but from the fear itself.

This verse reminds us that fear doesn’t have the final word. God does. And He’s not distant from your anxiety—He’s near, attentive, and powerful enough to deliver you.

Whatever fear you’re facing—fear of the future, failure, loneliness, or the unknown—God invites you to seek Him. He’s not hiding. He’s listening. And He’s ready to deliver.

Prayer:
Lord, I bring my fears to You today. You are my Deliverer. Replace my anxiety with Your peace, and help me to trust You more than I fear the unknown. In Your presence, I find freedom. Amen.
