Being a member of Cumberland Baptist Church is more than attending worship services—it's being an active part of a church family committed to growing in Christ through fellowship, service, ministry, and discipleship. We believe that every member plays an important role in the life and mission of the church, using their God-given gifts to serve one another and advance the Gospel.
One of the ways we encourage unity, accountability, and transparency is through our quarterly members' meetings. These gatherings provide an opportunity for church members to hear updates about the ministries and mission of the church, discuss important organizational matters, and ask questions regarding any aspect of church life. We value open communication and believe that these meetings help strengthen our fellowship as we work together to steward the ministries God has entrusted to us.
Our members' meetings are not simply business sessions; they are opportunities to celebrate God's faithfulness, pray together, share ministry victories, address challenges, and seek wisdom as a congregation. Every member is encouraged to participate, ask questions, and contribute to the ongoing work of the church because we are "members one of another" and share in the ministry Christ has given His church.
As a church family, we remain committed to carrying the Gospel to the nations with a biblical worldview, proclaiming the truth of God's Word and the saving grace found through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Together, we seek to glorify God by making disciples, serving our community, supporting missions, and faithfully living out the Great Commission.
We are grateful for a church family that values biblical truth, meaningful fellowship, faithful service, and a shared commitment to advancing God's Kingdom for His glory.
