Thinking of and praying for dear friends this weekend that will walk through two of the most difficult days ever as they remember a mentor, friend, co-worker and heroic dad of his home.

I pray that the home family and work family both feel the love from the hundreds of people that gather around them. May we be the arms, feet and mouthpiece for the almighty, to give His amazing comfort and peace.

This picture was a long way from 15 October 2012 when Jacob and his twin brother Samuel Trumpore first donned the uniform to join big brother Paul Trumpore in Cub Scouts.

So very honored to have officiated at Rita Weaver’s funeral today in Dothan, Alabama. She was one of the most wonderful ladies at Clarence Church of Christ (near Buffalo, NY) when I was growning up. For me to be here as an extension on my home Congregation was so emotional. Paul and Rita were so good to me! Paul and Rita’s three daughters are pictured.
