We were blessed to have our Senior Pastor, Rev. Catherine Nance, preach to our congregation one last time. Thank you, Pastor Catherine, for your faithful leadership, guidance, and service. We are deeply grateful for all you have meant to our church family and wish you a joyful, blessed, and well-deserved retirement. May God richly bless you in this new chapter of life.

Please be on the lookout for an email scam that is making its way throughout our congregation. This email looks to be from Pastor Catherine about a benevolence opportunity, but this is NOT true.

As a reminder, please check the FROM Field. All staff and clergy emails end with "churchstreetumc.org." There may be a familiar name in front of it, such as "Reverend Nance," but the email address is what you need to check! Staff do not email from personal accounts.

Stay vigilant and be safe!

Our very own Pastor Catherine was honored at the Retirement Service this morning at Annual Conference! This is a service that honors clergy and lay leaders who are entering retirement. She was one of 19 other clergy members honored this year. Pastor Catherine is joined by Bishop Wallace-Padgett, Rev. Glenna Manning, and her husband Brad.
