Culture can have us believe that freedom means we can do what we want and no one can tell us what to do. The bible is clear that sin enslaves us all, but Jesus liberates. Sin controls us until Christ liberates us. Freedom is not the absence of a master: it is choosing the right one. The opposite of slavery to sin is not autonomy -- it is surrender to Christ.

We're Celebrating! ๐ŸŽ‰

We are thrilled to share that Pastor Doug and Pastor Judy have been re-appointed to serve our congregation for another year!

We are incredibly grateful for their faithful leadership, caring hearts, and the many ways they help us grow in faith, serve our community, and follow Christ. Their dedication, encouragement, and love for our church family make North Star a special place to belong.

As we look ahead to another year of ministry together, we celebrate this exciting news and give thanks for Pastor Doug and Pastor Judy's continued service among us.
