Last week we had an amazing time baptizing what we thought was 5 but ended up being 7 before the day was over! 🙌🏾

Pastor LaMar preached a powerful word entitled “Because he said so!” coming from Numbers 23:19 that says God is not a man, that He should lie,
Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

• He reminded us to hold on to what God has promised.

• God is the only person that can back up what he said, with what he said.

• Before it’s all said and done, God will fulfill every promise to you, Because he said so!

We can’t wait for church tomorrow! See you at 10:30!

💧🙌 WHAT A DAY! 🙌💧

Today was a DAY TO REMEMBER! We were prepared to celebrate 5 amazing baptism candidates but the celebration didn’t stop there! , 2 more people made the decision to join the celebration and be baptized on the spot! 🙌🔥

We even had the incredible joy of witnessing a wife baptized alongside her husband and her brother—what a beautiful picture of faith and family! ❤️

What started with 5 became 7 lives taking a bold step of faith! Seven stories. Seven decisions. Seven declarations that Jesus changes everything!

We are so incredibly excited about what God is doing at Encounter Church and we believe this is only the beginning! 💧🔥

HEAVEN IS REJOICING, AND SO ARE WE! 🎉🙌

Last Sunday, we closed out our series Supernatural. We took a look at Psalm 27:13 that says “I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.”

Pastor LaMar preached a powerful sermon entitled, “You're about to see it!”

This Sunday, we’re starting a new series entitled "It Is What It Is" a five week series on being confident in what God has already said.

It’s also Baptism Sunday and we’re super excited to baptize 5 members of our church family.
