We’ll meet at Canterbury Park in Liberty at the covered gazebo near the playground from 6:30-7:30pm on the following Sunday evenings: June 14, July 12, July 26, and August 9. Our "We Are The Sermon" project is a way for us as a congregation to practice what we preach and be servants to those in our community.

So, on June 7th, we are collaborating with the Ronald McDonald House to build care kits for families in need. The Ronald McDonald House partners with children’s hospitals to help out families with housing, food, and supplies during treatments. As we assemble care kits for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House, we’re reminded that sharing Christ’s love is often found in simple acts of kindness, compassion, and service. We also hope you can join us in these efforts. May these small gifts bring comfort, hope, and a reminder that they are seen, loved, and prayed for during difficult times.

The Day of Pentecost is often described as the “birthday of the church” happening in antiquity, 50 days after Christ rose from the dead.

Today we commemorate what happened on this day-the Holy Spirit fell upon the Apostles! Thousands believed, repented, and were baptized to also receive the gift of the Spirit after listening to Peter, one of the apostles, preach.

You can find this amazing moment in history in your Bible or (YouVersion App) in Acts chapter two.

A big congratulations to one of our college graduates, Emily! She graduated this weekend from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science In Civil Engineering. She will be working at an engineering firm in downtown Kansas City.
