Renewal begins when we return to the Word! 💜

10/13/2026

Our Faith for What’s Next Bible Study resumes this Wednesday, October 14, as we conclude our journey through Nehemiah with Nehemiah 8:1–12 and 9:1–3 and the lesson, “Renewed by the Word.”
As the people gathered to hear the Word of God, something powerful happened—they listened, understood, responded, and were renewed. This week, we’ll explore what their experience teaches us about the transforming power of Scripture and how God’s Word can call us back, strengthen us, and prepare us for what comes next.

Join tonight
6:30 PM – In Person & Online

Come ready to learn, reflect, and grow as we close out this study with one final reminder that renewal begins when we return to the Word.

🍎💜 Starting Today: LOVE ONE ANOTHER!

Throughout October, Metropolitan is joining faith communities across Kansas and Missouri for the “Love One Another” Food Drive as we prepare holiday food baskets for 150 families!

Here’s how you can help:
🥫 Donate your ministry’s requested food items
💜 Give $30 to the Mercy Ministry to help purchase additional items
🛒 Place donations in the collection barrel in the hallway throughout October

Every member. Every ministry. Doing our part. Together, let’s show our community what it means to Love One Another through generosity, compassion, and service.

📖✨ Stay Focused on the Assignment.

“I am doing a great work and cannot come down.” — Nehemiah 6:3

People of faith refuse to be sidetracked from God’s assignment by inevitable distractions. When God has called you to the work, stay on the wall.

Read Nehemiah 6 and let’s discuss today:
