Mondays get a bad rap. But around here, we prefer a little Monday Mayhem.
Starting September 14, moms and littles (ages 0-5) are invited to join us every other Monday for a morning filled with play, laughter, coffee, snacks, and enough toys to keep tiny hands busy and curious minds engaged. Doors open at 9:30 and the Mayhem wraps at 11:00.
We’ll have our indoor and outdoor playgrounds open, plus activities and toys throughout the lower level for children of all ages and stages.
It’s the perfect place to make friends, burn some energy, and discover that a little mayhem can be a very good thing.
☕ Coffee for moms. 🍪 Snacks for kids. 🎉 Fun for everyone.

Just as Jesus invited His first disciples to “come and see” in John 1, we are called to invite others to “come and see” through the way we disciple right where God has already planted us. Whether in our homes, workplaces, neighborhoods, grocery store lines, or on the bleachers at a game, God has given each of us opportunities to point others to Him.

This weekend, we were reminded that discipleship isn’t about having a large platform or a perfect story. It’s about faithfully investing in others in the everyday moments of life. As we learned from Titus 2, God can use every season, every experience, and even our past pain points to encourage and guide someone else toward Jesus.

✨ The question isn’t whether God can use you. The question is: Who might God be asking you to intentionally invite “come and see” this week?

🎉 Our Grow Studies keep growing, and that's a problem worth celebrating!

Over the past few years, we've changed rooms, added chairs, and recruited more table leaders to make room for all the women joining our Women's Grow Studies. God has continued to bring more women into community and discipleship, and we're so grateful! Women are knowing Jesus deeper, becoming more like Him, and leading others to do the same.

Because we're about to outgrow our current space on Tuesday mornings, we're excited to offer a NEW Wednesday Morning Grow Study this semester!

Meet Your She: Studies Teacher | Roxy Coursey 💜
We're excited to welcome Roxy for our final She: Study of the year, Where Your Feet Are: The Quiet Strength of Everyday Discipleship.
A wife, mother, grandmother, business leader, and lifelong encourager, Roxy has a passion for helping women recognize that their experiences and stories have purpose. She loves helping women see how God uses every season, every challenge, and every opportunity to shape us and equip us to invest in others.
Roxy has been a member of Pleasant Valley for 33 years and faithfully serves across the life of our church. Whether she's serving by playing the flute, welcoming guests at the worship center doors, supporting local ministry partners, or creating fun memories with her grandchildren, she brings joy, wisdom, and encouragement wherever she goes.
On August 29, Roxy will lead us through Titus 2 as we explore what it means to embrace the ministry God has placed right in front of us and intentionally disciple others in the everyday moments of life.

This Wednesday (Aug. 26), we’re gathering around a topic we can all relate to:
✨ FAITH OVER WORRIES ✨
Cancer can bring so many worries—not just about ourselves, but about our children, spouses, families, future, and how our journey impacts those we love.
So this month, we’re creating space to pause, connect, pray, and remember that we don’t have to carry it all alone.

🌿 What to expect:
• Opening prayer
• Space for anyone new to share her story, if she wants
• Scripture and encouragement about worry
• Honest conversation about what helps when worry takes over
• A special “Give It to God” activity where we’ll write down our worries and pray over them together
You don’t have to have it all figured out. Just come as you are. 🤍

We're excited to welcome Delaney Ash, Ashley Brown, Mayela Esser, and Roxy Coursey for a candid conversation on everyday discipleship.
