Please keep in your prayers the repose of the soul of our former and very active parishioner, Mike Bradley, who passed away last week on Wednesday, August 26, 2026. We also ask that you keep his family in your prayers as they mourn his loss

There will be a visitation on Thursday, September 17, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Groce Funeral Home (1401 Patton Avenue) in Asheville, NC. Family remarks will take place at 12:30 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held that evening at 5:30 p.m. at the nearby Basilica of St. Lawrence (97 Haywood Street). Interment will follow on Friday, September 18, at 11:00 a.m. at Riverside Cemetery (53 Birch Street, Asheville, NC).

Please keep in your prayers the repose of the soul of our longtime parishioner, Rita Perry, who passed away on September 6. We also ask that you keep her family in your prayers as they mourn her loss.

The Perry family will receive friends for visitation from 12:00–1:00pm Saturday, September 12, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. A Mass will follow at 1:00pm. She will be interned at the Veteran's Administration cemetery on Monday September 14, at 10:00am.

Today we celebrate the 38th anniversary of the Diocese of Knoxville, which was established by St. John Paul II on Sept. 8, 1988!

Do you love Christmas and enjoy working with children? We’re looking for a couple of adult volunteers to join our DRE, Amy Blair, in planning and coordinating our Children’s Nativity at the Christmas Eve afternoon Mass.

CCW NEW SEASON KICK-OFF
Thursday September 10 in St. Francis de Sales Room

Meeting Time Change: Please note that the meeting will begin at 7:00pm instead of 6:00pm due to middle school cross country meet.

All women of the parish are invited to CCW’s first meeting of the 2026–27 season.
