Mary's Catholic Church in Johnson City, TN who support one another in both their faith and journey through motherhood. The Moms’ Ministry is a community of mothers within the parish who support one another in both their faith and journey through motherhood; through monthly meetings, events involving their children and husbands, and encouraging each other to live out their faith for both themselves

and their family. The Moms’ Ministry recognizes that every stage of motherhood comes with different challenges and joys; thus, attempting to keep the activities of the ministry accessible for moms with children of various ages, moms who work, or stay at home. Since the beginning of the ministry in 2017, the Moms’ Ministry has participated in many parish events such as the Family Fun Fest, Easter Egg Hunt, and the Food Pantry distribution. The ministry has monthly meetings from September-May (taking off the months of December, June, July, and August). Our current meeting format will include fellowship time with provided meal, monthly speakers on a wide range of topics relevant to motherhood, and group discussion. Meeting dates: Moms’ Ministry meetings are currently the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 6pm in the school’s art room but meetings are subject to change.

Join us on May 20th for our last gathering of the year!

To end in style, we’re having a Favorite Things Party!

Here’s how it works:
Each person brings one favorite item in the $15-$20 price range, unwrapped. Prepare a short explanation of why it’s your favorite thing – the storytelling is the best part!
When it’s time to exchange gifts, we’ll pick names at random to decide who will go home with which item.
Here are some examples of favorite things to spark your creativity: candles, reusable totes, travel accessories, lotion, books, magazines, kitchen gadgets, jewelry, snacks . . .
If you decide on a food item, please avoid gluten and alcohol.
If you don’t bring an item for the exchange, please still come! Come hear the stories and enjoy the company!
Bonus points if you also bring a favorite dish for the potluck. :)

Bio: Megan Boehm is known by most as a woman with many hats: mother, wife, party planner, content creator, instructor, and friend. Moving to East Tennessee four years ago from Southern California, she brought with her a love for cooking and sharing meals with others. After owning her own sourdough business in Southern California, then working for the last five years with nationally recognizable food brands, and finally bringing that experience to East Tennessee’s very own Serenity Knoll Farm cooking school — she is thrilled to share her love of food and flavors with the women of the St. Mary’s Mom’s Ministry!
