Without a loading dock, staff at Isaiah 58 Ministries had to move donations through the basement windows, down the hallway, and into the pantry. Even then, there wasn’t enough space in the basement to store food. See how Disciples Church Extension Fund is helping them serve their community from a building that's a better fit!

Imagine hauling 8,000 pounds of food a week through basement windows. That’s what Isaiah 58 Ministries in St. Louis, MO used to do.

This capital campaign is not only funding the replacement of Camp Christian's 60+-year-old pools, it's also funding facilities improvements for the camp and regional church office, program positions for regional ministries, mission projects outside the regional church, and more. Meet Disciples of the Way, a justice-oriented faith community in Hephzibah, GA. We were blessed to witness them receive their Church in Formation Certificate at the Christian Church DOC in Georgia's Regional Assembly. We look forward to meeting new congregations as we participate in more regional assemblies!
