Rev. Laura Guy knows how to lead a new church. While in seminary, she started Living Water Christian Church and was its pastor for 17 years. In 2025, when Rev. Guy was called to serve at Smithville First Christian Church, she was faced with not only caring for a congregation that traced its roots back almost 200 years, but also caring for a building that was almost 100 years old too.
