A Deep Reflection on 1 Samuel chapter 3.
Samuel Desired to Know Who Was Calling
Even though he did not yet know the Lord personally, he was concerned enough to seek the source of the call. Today, many hear God's voice through His Word, convictions, and circumstances, yet show little interest in discovering what God is saying.
A Challenge for Believers Today.
God is still calling people to salvation, service, holiness, prayer, ministry, and deeper fellowship with Him. The question is not whether God is calling, but whether we are listening and responding.
May we develop the same eagerness as Samuel and say: Speak, Lord, for Your servant hears.

What Will Speak for You?”

Text: 2 Chronicles 19
After King Jehoshaphat made mistakes by aligning himself with wicked King Ahab, he returned home safely. Though he was rebuked by the prophet for helping the ungodly, God still acknowledged the good he had done before:
2 Chronicles 19:3 says; Nevertheless good things are found in you, in that you have removed the wooden images from the land, and have prepared your heart to seek God."
Jehoshaphat made errors, but God did not overlook his previous commitment to removing idols and seeking Him.
What memories of obedience are speaking for you before God????
Jehoshaphat deserved judgment for joining with Ahab, yet God extended mercy because there was evidence of faithfulness.
Sometimes your past prayers, sacrifices, fasting, giving, and obedience become a testimony that speaks when you need mercy.
This does not mean we should live carelessly, but it reminds us:
A life consistently lived for God builds spiritual memories.
After correction, Jehoshaphat did not remain the same. He went throughout the land bringing people back to God and appointing righteous judges (2 Chronicles 19:4-11).
What have you changed since becoming a Christian????
Who have you influenced toward righteousness??????
What kingdom work have you invested in??????

2 Chronicles 14

2 Chronicles 14 tells the story of King Asa’s early reign in Judah. The chapter teaches 3 powerful lessons. 1. Seeking God, 2. Removing sin, and 3. Depending on God during battles and peaceful seasons.

1. Seek God First

Asa began his reign by seeking the Lord and leading the people back to God. According to 2 chronicles 14:2 “Asa did what was good and right in the eyes of the Lord his God.” We have to sincerely seek Him first. A strong life begins with obedience to God. When we seek Him sincerely, He directs our path and establishes peace around us.

2. Remove Sin...Yes Just Anything That Takes God’s Place
Asa removed idols, pagan altars, and ungodly practices from the land. “He removed the foreign altars and high places…” — 2 Chronicles 14:3 A heart that truly repents must remove spiritual distractions, sinful habits, and anything competing with God in our life. Asa knew true success comes from God and it comes with aligning your life with God instructions.

3. Obedience Brings Peace And Good Things Can Be Established in a Peaceful season. Because Asa followed God, he had peace as his reward. God is a rewarder. The nation experienced rest and peace. 2 Chronicles 14:5 The kingdom was at peace under him. Peace is often connected to walking in God’s will. God gives rest to those who trust and obey Him, and Asa used those peaceful times to strengthen the cities and prepare the nation according to 2 Chronicles 14:7
When life is calm, use the season wisely to grow spiritually, build your family, strengthen your ministry, and prepare for future challenges. I also loved how Asa view God. He cried out to God saying "Lord, there is no one like You to help the powerless against the mighty.” 2 Chronicles 14:11" Israel had a vast Army than Judah but because the people of Judah depended on God so they won. There is no battle that is too big for God. Our victories come through dependence on Him, not merely through human ability or resources.

Prayer Points from 2 Chronicles 14

Prayer for a Heart That Seeks God
Heavenly Father, help me to do what is good and right in Your sight. Give me a heart that seeks You daily and obeys Your Word.

Prayer to Remove Spiritual Distractions
Lord, remove every idol, sinful habit, and distraction from my life. Help me to put You first in all things.

Prayer for Peace
Father, let Your peace reign in my home, family, church, and workplace. Grant me rest from every storm and confusion.

Prayer for Wisdom During Peaceful Seasons
Lord, teach me to use seasons of peace wisely. Help me build my spiritual life, strengthen my faith, and prepare for the future.

Prayer for Victory Over Battles
Father, every battle that seems too great for me, I place in Your hands. Fight for me and grant me victory in Jesus’ name.

Pride Without Wisdom Is Dangerous
Rehoboam followed young men who encouraged pride and oppression.
2 Chronicles 10:8 But Rehoboam rejected the advice the elders gave him and consulted the young men who had grown up with him and were serving him.
Today many of us follow ungodly advice, and do the wrong things that will leave bad reflection whenever our names are called.
2 Chronicles 10 reminds believers to seek wisdom, remain humble, speak gently, and serve people with love. Pride divides, but humility preserves unity and invites God’s favor.
Today I pray for me, my kids, family, friends, Nations, and Leaders to seek Godly counsel.
Lord, please surround us with godly, wise, and truthful counselors who will direct us according to Your will.” and I pray against wrong counsel. Father, disconnect us from ungodly advice, misleading voices, and counsel that will lead us away from Your purpose.”
Psalm 1:1Says: “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly". Please help us to walk in the right path. AMEN.

Genesis 12:1–2

“Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee.
Abraham did not become blessed because of luck, connections, or earthly systems.
He became blessed because he responded to divine instruction.
Lord, remove fear from my heart and help me trust You in unfamiliar seasons.”
