St. Mary's Seminary prepares configuration and discipleship stage seminarians for the priesthood.

Mary's Seminary accompanies and prepares theology and pre-theology seminarians for the Roman Catholic priesthood by configuring them to the heart of Christ the Good Shepherd through programs of human, spiritual, intellectual and pastoral formation. This esteemed school of Mary is committed to the finest and comprehensive formation of theology and pre-theology men, for an effective pastoral service to the people of God as holy, virtuous, competent, and compassionate Roman Catholic priests and espoused heralds of the Gospel. In the spirit of mutual respect and shared vision, the faculty and staff of the Seminary, along with the bishops, priests, and laity of the sponsoring dioceses in Texas and across the nation, strive to achieve the mission of this honorable institution, which is essential to the work of building up the Kingdom of God.
