It’s easy to slip into a spiritual routine and completely miss what God is doing right in front of us. In the Garden of Gethsemane, the disciples missed an incredible opportunity simply because they fell asleep. Are we doing the same thing with our time, talents, and treasures today?

Join us tomorrow as we hear an urgent message about shaking off spiritual complacency and living with real, eternal purpose. It’s time to open our eyes to the needs of our community, support our hurting brothers and sisters, and step into the unique roles God has designed for us. Don't hit the snooze button on what God wants to do in your life!

We made it to the weekend! But earthly rest is only a small shadow of the eternal rest waiting for us. Our Good Shepherd doesn’t guide us through dangerous valleys and feed us in the presence of enemies just to leave us at the finish line. He has personally prepared a permanent place for you in His Father's house. Your eternity is completely secure in His hands. ❤️ Tag a friend: Who needs a reminder tonight that they are deeply loved, securely held, and destined for an eternal home with the Shepherd?

Day 5: Preserved for Eternity (John 14:1-3)
Key Focus: Resting securely in the Shepherd’s promise of eternal preservation.

King David beautifully bookends the twenty-third Psalm with the name of the LORD, anchoring our entire journey in His eternal care. Our Good Shepherd is not a temporary guide who leads us through difficult valleys only to abandon us at the finish line of life. Jesus has given us His personal promise that He has gone ahead to prepare a permanent home for us in His Father’s house. This glorious truth guarantees that our ultimate security is forever safe in His hands. We can walk through any earthly trial with unwavering confidence, knowing that the Lord who preserves us today will safely welcome us into His presence for all of eternity.

How does the absolute certainty of your eternal home in heaven change the weight and pressure of the temporary trials you are facing this week?

Prayer Prompt: Savior, I praise You because You are the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and my eternity is forever secure in You. Help me to live with courageous hope today, knowing that I will safely dwell in Your magnificent house forever.

Our problem is often short-sightedness. God is constantly doing ten thousand things in our lives, even when we can only see a handful of them. If you take a moment tonight to look backward at your past failures, valleys, and unexpected detours, you'll start to see a beautiful pattern: His goodness and mercy have been chasing you down the entire time. 💭 Reflect & Share: Look back at a difficult season in your life. How did God eventually turn what felt like a disaster into something good?

Day 4: Pursued by Goodness and Mercy (Psalm 23:6)
Key Focus: Recognizing God’s faithful hand in our past and reflecting that grace to others.

When we take an intentional look back over our lives, we can easily spot the unmistakable footprints of God’s goodness and mercy following close behind us. Even through our personal failures, sins, and confusing seasons, the Shepherd has consistently picked us up, forgiven us, and set us back on the right path. Because we are relentlessly pursued by this unmerited favor, we are called to leave that exact same trail behind us everywhere we go. The grace we receive should naturally overflow, leaving a clear wake of forgiveness, kindness, and encouragement in the lives of those we cross paths with.

Look behind you at the trail you have left over the last few days; have you been leaving behind peace and encouragement, or criticism and turmoil?

Prayer Prompt: Heavenly Father, thank You for relentlessly pursuing me with Your goodness and mercy even when I wander. Help me to be a conduit of that exact same grace today, freely offering forgiveness and profound kindness to everyone I meet.

Sometimes the smallest things cause the biggest chaos. A single negative comment or a minor delay can act just like the "nasal flies" that drive sheep crazy, completely ruining an otherwise beautiful day. If life’s little irritations got under your skin today, ask the Father for a fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit tonight. Let His healing oil soothe your frustrations and protect your peace of mind. ✨ Take a breath: Which fruit of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, patience...) do you need the Holy Spirit to fill you with before you head into tomorrow morning?

Day 3: Healing Oil for Daily Buzzes (Galatians 5:22-23)
Key Focus: Inviting the Holy Spirit to soothe our wounds and protect us from daily irritations.

Just as a helpless sheep requires a shepherd to apply a protective coating of oil to ward off destructive, irritating nasal flies, we desperately need the daily cleansing work of the Holy Spirit. It is often the small, biting annoyances—a thoughtless word from a coworker, a sudden delay, or a minor frustration—that threaten to rob us of our joy and drive us crazy. When we ask the Father for a fresh daily measure of His Spirit, He anoints our minds with a soothing peace. This divine care allows us to meet life’s daily friction with love, longsuffering, kindness, and self-control.

What minor irritation has been buzzing around your mind lately, and how can you hand it over to the Holy Spirit for immediate relief?

Prayer Prompt: Holy Spirit, I ask that You would completely cover my mind today with Your soothing, protective presence. Guard my thoughts against minor daily irritations, and produce Your beautiful fruit of love, joy, and peace within my heart.
