This is living the greatest command-to love your neighbor! Four wonderful ladies from a neighboring church (one stepped out of the pic) come to EZUMC to serve a homemade dinner to families coming to the LIGHT Neighborhood Pantry. And they do it with smiles and laughter and above all JOY! No agendas..no judgement...just the desire to be the hands and feet of Christ. Thank you, St. John- Williston Ladies...you are an inspiration!

What a wonderful day at Elliston Zion United Methodist Church! It was a full house for our Annual Ottawa County Women of Faith Brunch. We began with devotions by Julie Sigurdson & Nicole Smith praying with us and singing praise with ASL. We had great food served by the gentlemen of the church. (Thanks, Guys!) We listened to Tracie, Dwayne and Paul play dulcimer, strings and guitar and then headed to the Sanctuary for our featured artist, Kerry Patrick Clark. Over 60 Sisters in Christ from many churches filled the church with love! Wonderful things happen when they happen for the love of CHRIST! Thank you to all who came and celebrated the day with us.

Join us this Sunday as we worship with the Oak Harbor High School Choir! We are hosting breakfast at 8:30 in the Fellowship Hall with worship to follow at 10 AM. All are welcome to join us as we celebrate our Lord with our talented community members!!

There's a lot going on at Elliston Zion! And all are welcome to join us!!
SAT: April 11th- the LIGHT MOBILE Pantry is on the road at 10 AM at the Elmore Retirement Village. If you live at ERV and are in need of food, simply sign up in the Community Room. Helpers needed, too!
TUES: April 21st at 4 PM-5 PM Easy exercise to get you moving! Join us for fun that's good for you too!
THURS: April 30th at 11 AM-our First Lunch and Learn with Cathy from the Area Office on Aging teaching us about Healthy Eating. Then, we will enjoy lunch and fellowship together. Feel free to bring your favorite side dish!
See you then!!

This Lenten season we invite you to join us for "The Message of Jesus" sermon series shared during Sunday School at 9:15a, worship at 10a and on Wednesday evenings dinner at 630p, followed by the study.

"Remember that you are dust... and to dust you shall return."
These words are often offered during Ash Wednesday worship services.

The words are not meant to sound threatening or foreboding. Instead they remind us that we are not God, but God's good creation. As we receive the ashes on Ash Wednesday, we acknowledge our mortality, our dependence on God and our need for renewal. It is a call to live fully, love boldly and turn our hearts toward God’s grace.

Lent invites us into a season of reflection, repentance and renewal. How is God calling you to grow in grace in this season?

Yea! Tomorrow (Weds) is Pantry Day! The LIGHT Neighborhood Pantry at Elliston Zion is open to Ottawa County residents from 5-7 PM. We 'll have Pizza and Salad for dinner. If it is your first visit, please bring your ID. We are located at Elliston Zion United Methodist Church just off Elliston Trowbridge Rd. We are a free choice pantry and we just want to make feeding your family a little easier this week! See you soon!
