A VBS Adventure Awaits you this June! Get ready to explore the wild! From June 22–25, St. John’s UCC is turning into a tropical rainforest full of color, creatures, and surprises—and YOU’RE invited to join the expedition!

And it's happening from 4P-6P this year!

Kids from Preschool through 5th Grade will trek through jungle paths, discover hidden treasures, make awesome crafts, play high‑energy games, and learn how God’s love is the strongest foundation they can always count on.

Pack your bags, grab your binoculars and listen for the call of the rainforest… an adventure is waiting! Since our hours are from 4P-6P a meal will be included. If you’d like to help or sign up your child for this year’s VBS, please scan the QR code below or contact the church office at 419-855-3906 x5.

On Friday, our church parking lot turned into the ultimate staging zone—fire trucks, cars, farm equipment, and floats all lined up and ready to roll!

From there, we paraded down Main Street for the Homecoming celebration in full small‑town style. We hope you enjoy the snapshots—we loved every minute of it!

Huge shout out to our graduating seniors today! Thanks Ava and Johnny for being here and joining Pastor Philip up front. We know it’s not anyone’s idea of a good time to be in the spotlight but you did it anyway, and we’re so proud of you. Your church family is cheering you on as you take your next steps!

Pastor Philip’s message (5/30/26) contrasts a weekend warrior with a true disciple—someone who doesn’t just feel inspired for a moment but practices steady, everyday faith. Drawing from Romans 12, we’re reminded that real transformation happens in the small, ordinary moments: choosing love, humility, patience, and kindness even when it’s hard or unnoticed.

He calls us to move beyond quick bursts of enthusiasm and embrace the daily rhythm of discipleship—slow, consistent, always shaping us into Christlike people.

And all summer long, if you have a talent you want to share in our Sunday service we would enjoy hearing you. If you would like to put together a duet or group, see Brian Bryant and he will help
make that happen.
