Good Morning Friends, Ascension Methodist Church will be going live on Facebook at 10 am with an abbreviated service this morning. With temperatures still well below freezing, Brittany house remains winterized with no water, so online it is. We hope to be back to normal times and practices next week, February 8, 2026 as we welcome our EMC missionaries Bill and Lisa Walker to share with us about EMC mission outreaches. we will serve a jambalaya lunch with all the trimmings including King Cake, so plan to join us in person next week at Ascension Methodist Church. COLD WEATHER UPDATE! ​We will not meet in person for worship services Sunday, February 1st due to the cold weather forecasted. I will be turning the water off and winterizing the house in preparation for the freezing temps Saturday and Sunday morning and will need to leave the water off for several days. I hope to offer an online worship service at 10 am Sunday if all the technology cooperates, so tune in to our page. Please be safe and stay off the roads as icy conditions are predicted. Peace, Trey
